The Capital University of Science & Technology (Urdu: جامعہ دارالحکومت سائنس و ٹیکنالوجی) is a private university located in Islamabad, Pakistan. Established in 1998 under the banner of Muhammad Ali Jinnah University Islamabad Campus, the university offers undergraduate and post-graduate programs with a strong emphasis on business management, applied sciences, engineering and computer science.

The Ling Stream flows in the Pothohar region of Northern Pakistan. It starts in the foothills of the Lehtrar area near Kahuta and, flowing and cutting its way through the hilly area, it meets the Swan River near Sihala. The road that joins Islamabad and Azad Kashmir passes it twice. Kingfishers also hunt fish at this stream.

Humak is also the name of the Union Council governing this town, as well as the nearby Kotha Kalan and Naizian Model Town Humak is a suburb town of Islamabad, Pakistan started in 1984. Located in Islamabad Capital Territory on Kahuta Road, Model Town is situated on Humak village land near the Swaan River. The area was formerly a jungle. According to the District Rawalpindi gazette of 1893, Humak was on the main railway line from Jhelum to Rawalpindi; those lines have since been relocated. The community now has more than 1500 homes laid out in an organised way, following the map provided by Capital Development Authority.

Yusra Medical & Dental College (Urdu: یسری طبی اور دندان سازی کالج) (YM&DC) is a private medical college located in Islamabad. Cantonment General Hospital and Yusra General Hospital are attached to the college as a teaching hospital.According to the World Directory of Medical Schools, the college is not currently operational and closed in 2018. It is not longer listed as an approved college of medicine by the Pakistani Medical Council.

Lohi Bher is a populated area situated in the city of Islamabad, Pakistan. It constitutes one of the union councils within the city and falls under Union Council No. 34, following the latest district boundary updates of 2022. This union council encompasses a range of residential regions, such as Coring Town, Pakistan Town, Lohi Bher, and Jinnah Garden.Lohi Bher Awan village accommodates a significant population and is notably recognized for its Lohi Bher Wildlife Park, which draws numerous visitors from different parts of the country. The majority of the village inhabitants belong to the Awan community, specifically the Awan-Qutab Shahi sub-clan. With a history that spans over two centuries, Lohi Bher Awan is one of the most prominent villages in the Islamabad area, renowned for its vast expanse and varied housing societies, including PWD, Pakistan Town, Jinnah Garden, Capital Enclave, and Soan Garden, among others. It is noteworthy that Lohi Bher Awan is located adjacent to the PWD Housing Society.

Riwat Site 55 is an Upper Palaeolithic archaeological site in the Soan Valley, near the village of Rawat in Punjab, Pakistan. It is approximately 45,000 years old and shows human occupation in Pakistan about 45-68,000 years ago.

Riwat (Rawat, Murree) is a Paleolithic site in Punjab, northern Pakistan. Another site, called Riwat Site 55, shows a later occupation dated to around 45,000 years ago.

Bhoja Air Flight 213 was a domestic scheduled passenger flight operated by Pakistani airline Bhoja Air from Karachi to Islamabad. On 20 April 2012, the Boeing 737-236A aircraft serving the route crashed in bad weather during its final approach to land. All 121 passengers and 6 crew members aboard were killed. With 127 deaths, it remains as the second deadliest air disaster in Pakistan.The crash was caused by the crew's inadequate flight management during adverse weather conditions. The flight crew were not trained adequately and properly on the automated system of the Boeing 737-236A, a more advanced version of the Boeing 737-200 series, and didn't retain sufficient knowledge on the correct procedures for handling an aircraft in bad weather conditions. Additionally, Bhoja Air's lack of oversight and multiple errors within Pakistan CAA's monitoring system of Pakistani airliners further contributed to the accident.

Rawat is a town and union council of the Islamabad Capital Territory in Pakistan. During Mughal and later Sikh rule in the Punjab, it was a fortified town which was used for Sikh caravans passing by on their way to Peshawar or Attock. This town was also captured by the invading British army who had just captured Gujrat from the retreating Sikhs. The Sikhs finally surrendered the city of Rawalpindi and their empire to the British.

Lohi Bher Wildlife Park is a zoo located near Lohi Bher in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan. Established in 1992, the area encompasses 687 acres. It was established and is administered by the Forest, Fisheries & Wildlife Department of the Government of Punjab.
