Lohi Bher is a populated area situated in the city of Islamabad, Pakistan. It constitutes one of the union councils within the city and falls under Union Council No. 34, following the latest district boundary updates of 2022. This union council encompasses a range of residential regions, such as Coring Town, Pakistan Town, Lohi Bher, and Jinnah Garden.Lohi Bher Awan village accommodates a significant population and is notably recognized for its Lohi Bher Wildlife Park, which draws numerous visitors from different parts of the country. The majority of the village inhabitants belong to the Awan community, specifically the Awan-Qutab Shahi sub-clan. With a history that spans over two centuries, Lohi Bher Awan is one of the most prominent villages in the Islamabad area, renowned for its vast expanse and varied housing societies, including PWD, Pakistan Town, Jinnah Garden, Capital Enclave, and Soan Garden, among others. It is noteworthy that Lohi Bher Awan is located adjacent to the PWD Housing Society.

Lohi Bher Wildlife Park is a zoo located near Lohi Bher in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan. Established in 1992, the area encompasses 687 acres. It was established and is administered by the Forest, Fisheries & Wildlife Department of the Government of Punjab.

Chaklala is a major suburban town of Rawalpindi in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is situated astride the Airport Road, to the east of Grand Trunk Road on the main railway line. The town has its own railway station Chaklala Railway Station which is located less than 1 kilometer away from Benazir Bhutto International Airport.Chaklala is under the municipal administration of Chaklala Cantonment Board (CCB) which provides water, sewage treatment and road improvements in the area along with maintaining parks and green areas. This is separate from the other two municipal authorities i.e Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) and Rawalpindi Metropolitan Corporation which make up the metropolitan city of Rawalpindi The area also has modern housing schemes namely Gulzar-e-Quaid, Chaklala Housing Schemes I, II & III, Askari - I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VIII, IX, X & XII with a rapidly diminishing rural area. There is a large commercial market situated in Chaklala Scheme III which is the major shopping area for all the residents in Chaklala. The market comprises a lot of restaurants and shopping areas and a hang out spot for the younger people. There is also a cinema and retail complex located in Jinnah Park on the airport road which is another area where residents venture out during evenings.

Humak is also the name of the Union Council governing this town, as well as the nearby Kotha Kalan and Naizian Model Town Humak is a suburb town of Islamabad, Pakistan started in 1984. Located in Islamabad Capital Territory on Kahuta Road, Model Town is situated on Humak village land near the Swaan River. The area was formerly a jungle. According to the District Rawalpindi gazette of 1893, Humak was on the main railway line from Jhelum to Rawalpindi; those lines have since been relocated. The community now has more than 1500 homes laid out in an organised way, following the map provided by Capital Development Authority.

The Capital University of Science & Technology (Urdu: جامعہ دارالحکومت سائنس و ٹیکنالوجی) is a private university located in Islamabad, Pakistan. Established in 1998 under the banner of Muhammad Ali Jinnah University Islamabad Campus, the university offers undergraduate and post-graduate programs with a strong emphasis on business management, applied sciences, engineering and computer science.

Pakistan Air Force Base Nur Khan (founded as RAF Station Chaklala and previously known as PAF Base Chaklala) is an active Pakistan Air Force airbase located in Chaklala, Rawalpindi, Punjab province, Pakistan. The former Benazir Bhutto International Airport forms part of this airbase. Fazaia Intermediate College, Nur Khan is also located in the base.

Benazir Bhutto International Airport (Urdu: بینظیر بھٹو ایئر بیس, ICAO: OPRN) is a defunct airport which formerly served the Islamabad-Rawalpindi metropolitan area. It was the second-largest airport by air traffic in Pakistan, until 3 May 2018 when it was replaced by the new Islamabad International Airport. Also known as Chaklala Airbase, it was renamed after the late Pakistani prime minister Benazir Bhutto (1953–2007) in June 2008. The airport handled 4,767,860 passengers in 2015–16, compared to 3,610,566 in 2010–11.The airport was located in the area of Chaklala in Rawalpindi, which neighbours Islamabad. Following the establishment of the new Islamabad International Airport, the airport is no longer used for civil aviation and now forms a part of the adjoining PAF Base Nur Khan (also known as PAF Base Chaklala).

The Ling Stream flows in the Pothohar region of Northern Pakistan. It starts in the foothills of the Lehtrar area near Kahuta and, flowing and cutting its way through the hilly area, it meets the Swan River near Sihala. The road that joins Islamabad and Azad Kashmir passes it twice. Kingfishers also hunt fish at this stream.

Shakrial is a town in Rawalpindi District, Pakistan. It is linked in the east to Kuri Road and the area of Dhoke Kashmirian, in the west to Chirah Road, in the north to Service Road and the area of Sadiqabad, and in the south to Expressway Islamabad. The town is divided into two main parts, Old Shakrial and New Shakrial. The native people of Shakrial are Qureshis, and other major clans are Syeds, Hanjra Rajputs, Maliks, Mughals khans and Sattis. Every year in the summer season, people gather in the town for Urs of Saein Boota Darbar.
