Moulay Rachid (arrondissement)

Moulay Rachid (مولاي رشيد) is a district and southeastern suburb of Casablanca, in the Casablanca-Settat region of Morocco. The district, named after Prince Moulay Rachid of Morocco, covers an area of 13.38 square kilometres (5.7 square miles) and as of 2004 had 384,044 inhabitants. It lies to the east of Sbata.

Hay Mohammadi or Hay Mohammedi (Arabic: الحي المحمدي) is a neighbourhood in eastern Casablanca, in the Aïn Sebaâ - Hay Mohammadi district of the Casablanca-Settat region of Morocco. As of 2004 it had 156,501 inhabitants.The district was once home to North Africa's oldest and largest slum, formerly known as Carrières Centrales, which was largely demolished throughout the 2010s within the framework of the Moroccan government's 'Cities without Slums' (French: Villes sans bidonvilles; Arabic: مدن بلا أحياء فقيرة). The project has been criticized for its forced relocation into unsustainable debts and relocating city dwellers away from their work and social sphere.This neighbourhood has been historically referred to as a 'mythical place', and locals talk about it with pride and affection.

Carrières Centrales (Moroccan Arabic: كريان سنطرال) is a series of modernist housing developments in Casablanca, Morocco designed in the 1950s by architects Georges Candillis, Shadrach Woods, Alexis Josic. The development aimed to create utopian "habitats" that would provide alternatives to slum life for working class residents of the city. Carrières Centrales has been noted as a prominent example of modernism within the Maghreb.

Lahraouyine (Berber: ⵍⴰⵀⵔⴰⴻⵢⵏ, Arabic: الهراويين) is a small city and rural commune in Médiouna Province, of the Casablanca-Settat region of Morocco. It recorded a population of 64,821 in the 2014 Moroccan census. At the time of the 2004 census, the commune had a total population of 52,862 people living in 10,806 households.

The Ben M'Sik European Cemetery is a cemetery in Casablanca, Morocco and is described as "a very large civilian cemetery...approximately 6 kilometres from Casablanca town centre". Ben M'Sik European Cemetery contains 38 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War. The Commonwealth plot also contains two war graves of other nationalities and seven non-war burials. Among the latter is the grave of Field Marshal Sir Claude Auchinleck, who held a number of commands during the Second World War. Larbi Zaouli Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Casablanca, Morocco. It is used mostly for football matches and TAS de Casablanca And Raja CA And Wydad AC are the current tenants. The stadium has a capacity of 30,000 people after being renovated in 2019.
