Waukesha County () is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 406,978, making it the third-most populous county in Wisconsin. Its county seat and largest city is Waukesha.Waukesha County is included in the Milwaukee–Waukesha–West Allis, WI Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Saylesville (also Sayesville or South Genesee) is an unincorporated community located in the town of Genesee, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, United States. Saylesville is located on County Highway X 6 miles (9.7 km) southwest of Waukesha. Saylesville is home to the J. C. Booth House and the William Johnston Lime Kiln, both of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

It is in the Town of Genesee, in southeastern Wisconsin between Milwaukee and Madison, and named for the train station, or depot, of the Wisconsin and Calumet Railroad (now the Wisconsin and Southern Railroad) that formerly served the town.

Wales is a village in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, first settled by Welsh immigrants. The population was 2,862 at the time of the 2020 census.

Waukesha North High School is one of three high schools located in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Operated by the Waukesha School District, the school opened in mid-year, at the start of the second semester, during the 1974-1975 school year. The school is part of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association and the Classic 8 Conference in athletics. North's nickname is the "Northstars" and the school mascot is the polar bear, "Sparky" The school has a rotating schedule and advisory program. Its marching band won the WSMA state marching band championship every year from 2007 to 2015.

It is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA CASI). Kettle Moraine was named a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2002 by the U.S. Department of Education.

The University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee at Waukesha is a two-year college located in Waukesha, in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. A branch campus of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, it is part of the University of Wisconsin System. Like the other 2-year UW campuses, UWM at Waukesha's land and buildings belong to a local government unit, in this case Waukesha County. As part of the local-state partnership, the University of Wisconsin provides faculty, staff, educational programs, technology, furnishings, libraries, and supplies. In 2018, the college became a regional campus of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee

Kettle Moraine School District is a school district headquartered in Wales, Wisconsin.The district, mostly in Waukesha County, includes: all of Dousman, almost all of Wales, much of Delafield, a portion of Summit, and a small portion of North Prairie. The Waukesha County portion includes sections of the towns of Genesee and Ottawa. A portion of the district extends into Town of Sullivan, Jefferson County.
