First Presbyterian Church historic Presbyterian Church located at Niagara Falls, Niagara County, New York. The original section was built in 1849, with additions and modifications made in 1879, 1903–1904, and 1921. The sanctuary was renovated in 1957. It is a Gothic Revival style, L-shaped, stone church. The church features a three-story crenellated bell tower and round arched windows and openings. The congregation was established in 1824.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

The Turtle, also known as the Turtle Building or the Native American Center for the Living Arts, is a three-story building in Niagara Falls, New York. The building was opened in May 1981 as the headquarters for the Native American Center for the Living Arts, an organization dedicated to promoting Native American visual and performing arts. Its unique shape, with a geodesic dome roof "shell" and large porthole "eye" windows, invokes the Iroquois creation story of the earth forming on the back of a giant turtle. After closing in 1995 due to financial trouble, the building has remained vacant, with its future preservation and use in question.

St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Niagara Falls, New York, is an Episcopalian church in downtown Niagara Falls, New York. The first church of the name was built in 1847-49 by George Holley on land given for the purpose from the estate of General Peter Buell Porter; the funeral services of his son Col. Peter A. Porter and other members of his family were held here. The present church was built in 1873–80 to replace it: the architect was Henry Dudley.

The Cataract House was a hotel in the neighborhood of Buffalo Avenue in Niagara Falls, New York. The hotel was established in 1825 but destroyed by fire in 1945. It was a major stop on the Underground Railroad and it was the largest hotel in Niagara Falls. The hotel's name refers to the large and powerful waterfall next to property.

It is an eight-story brick structure constructed in 1926 and is the city's sole example of a high rise, full service early 20th century apartment building designed for middle and upper income residents. First Presbyterian Manse, also known as the Lavinia E. Porter House, is a historic home located at Niagara Falls in Niagara County, New York. It was built about 1849 and is a two-story, stucco covered, square brick dwelling in the Italianate style. It has a projecting full-height entrance and a rear addition. It has a low pitched gable roof with deep overhanging eaves and decorative brackets. The house was last renovated in 1927–1931. The home is associated with Lavinia E. Porter, daughter of Judge Augustus Porter (1769–1849). From its construction, it housed the manse for the local Presbyterian church.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

The Maid of the Mist is a sightseeing boat tour of Niagara Falls, starting and ending on the American side, crossing briefly into Canada during a portion of the trip. The fleet currently consists of two vessels, both of which launched in 2020. The James V. Glynn was named in honor of the Maid of the Mist Chairman and CEO, who in 2020 celebrated 70 years with the company, and the Nikola Tesla, for the man who developed a type of alternating current (AC) motor. Nikola Tesla's patents were licensed by George Westinghouse whose company later won the bid to build the first AC power plant at Niagara Falls. Prior to the current two boats, all prior ships had been named Maid of the Mist, dating back to 1846. The first ships were steam powered; these were replaced by diesel-powered vessels from 1955 until 2019, and later replaced with the current two boats powered by lithium-ion battery-powered electric motors. The name, Maid of the Mist, could be a reference to the Iroquois myth of Lelawala.

It was built by the Seneca Nation to compete with Casino Niagara and Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Formerly known as the Niagara Falls Convention and Civic Center, it was sold to the federally recognized Seneca Nation of New York. The casino floor has an area of 147,000 sq ft (13,700 m2) with 99 gaming tables and 4,200 slot machines. It is the largest hotel in New York state outside of Manhattan.
