Ronchetto sul Naviglio is a district ("quartiere") of Milan, Italy, part of the Zone 6 administrative division of the city. Before being annexed to Milan (in 1923), it has been an autonomous comune until 1870, and a frazione of Buccinasco between 1870 and 1923. Ronchetto is probably named after an ancient cascina (farmhouse) by that name; in turn, the name of the cascina is derived from the Lombard word ronch, which refers to different types of cultivated areas.The original structure of the once rural settlement of Ronchetto is almost completely unrecognizable in the modern district, which has experienced a massive urbanization process in the 20th century and is now seamlessly connected to the urban agglomeration of Milan. A landmark of Ronchetto is a modern, 700-metre-long (2,300 ft) bridge that crosses both the Naviglio Grande canal and the Milan-Mortara railway, connecting Ronchetto to the Giambellino-Lorenteggio district. The district has been experiencing a long period of decay and is often described as a degraded area. The Duomo Connection trial of the late 1980s revealed the extensive activity of the Mafia in the district.Ronchetto sul Naviglio is also remembered as the scene of a battle between Italian partisans and the German army, occurred on 25 April 1945, i.e., the very day when Italy proclaimed its liberation from the German rule.

Liceo Scientifico e Linguistico "Guglielmo Marconi" (Italian pronunciation: [liˈtʃɛːo ʃʃenˈtiːfiko e lliŋˈɡwistiko ɡuʎˈʎɛlmo marˈkoːni]) is a senior high school in Milan, Italy. It was established as a branch of the Liceo Scientifico Einstein in the 1968–1969 school year. It became independent in the 1970–1971 school year. It was known as the "VII Liceo Scientifico," and later the "IX Liceo Scientifico," before becoming the "Liceo Scientifico “Guglielmo Marconi”" in the 1986–1987 school year. It maintained its main campus on Via dei Giacinti and its annex at Via dei Narcisi in until the 2006–2007 school year, when it moved to Via dei Narcisi, 5. It acquired an annex at U. Pisa 5/2 in the 2012–2013 school year. A linguistic high school division was established in the 2013–2014 school year, and so the school is now known under its current name.

Giambellino and Lorenteggio are two historical and populous residential neighborhoods of Milan, Italy. Together, they form a district ("quartiere"), part of the Zone 6 administrative division of Milan. The district is centered along two parallel streets (over 2 km long), Via Giambellino and Via Lorenteggio, that extend from the south-west of Milan outwards to the border of the comune of Corsico. These two main streets house a number of shops and stores, and together form a peripheral shopping district. The area is nevertheless mainly residential, with both high-income housing (especially in the area of Via Soderini, Via Arzaga, Viale San Gimignano, and the innermost part of Via Lorenteggio) and low-income housing (especially in Via Giambellino and the peripheral part of the district).

The Agorà Ice Stadium is the largest ice arena in Milan, Italy. Prior to its opening in 1987, Milan had had only one ice rink. It is currently the home of the Hockey Milano Rossoblu ice hockey team, as well as around 300 athletes in the disciplines of figure skating, speed skating, and synchronized skating. The Agorà has a seating capacity of 4,000 and receives 150,000 to 200,000 visitors annually. It can host both national and international events. Its facilities include a standard track of 30 x 60 metres and a restaurant/bar. The Agorà hosted the 2013 World Junior Figure Skating Championships.

It was owned by Carlo e Umberto Zanibelli e Lidia Gualtieri from 1962 until 1998. Since then, it has been owned by Mauro Pagani, a long time violinist of Premiata Forneria Marconi.

The Scuola Giapponese di Milano (ミラノ日本人学校, Mirano Nihonjin Gakkō, English: "Milan Japanese School") is a Japanese international school in Milan, Italy.The school is within a two-story white building. Francesco Segoni of the publication Magazine of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore argued that the school building looks more like a country house than an educational building.The school has about 120 pupils. Almost all of the students have parents working for Japanese multinational companies who had been transferred to Milan.It was founded on 25 February 1976.

The Gemini Center is an office complex comprising two skyscrapers located in Milan, Italy, at the most peripheral end of Via Lorenteggio, in the Giambellino-Lorenteggio district, adjacent to Milan's border with Corsico. The two towers are 96 m, 21 stories high; they were designed by architects R. Gantes and R. Morisi. A distinctive trait of the Gemini Center towers are two cranes located on the buildings' top, which are used for cleaning the glass panes that cover most of the towers' external surface. The towers are connected to each other by glass bridges (up to the 15th floor). The first tower was completed in 1992, and the second was completed in 1996.

The station is located between Via Bisceglie and Via Ferruccio Parri, within the municipality of Milan. This terminus station provides a connection to local and intercity buses operated by ATM at an adjoining bus station.
