The MacRobertson Bridge is a road bridge that carries Grange Road from Toorak on the south bank into Burnley, over the Yarra River and the Monash Freeway in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.The first river crossing at the site was Twickenham Ferry, which conveyed passengers and was founded by waterman Jesse Barrow in 1880. it was named for the Twickenham Ferry in London. The ferry survived until 1934, when it was replaced by the MacRobertson Bridge, financed by Sir Macpherson Robertson. When built the bridge was one of two bridges in the world to be the first to use welded steel trusses.As built the bridge only spanned the Yarra, but in 1967 the South Eastern Arterial was built, running under the northernmost span.

Toorak House is a mansion located in Melbourne, Australia built in 1849 by well-known Melbourne merchant James Jackson. It is notable for its use as Melbourne's first Government House and having inspired the name for the suburb of Toorak. Jackson is believed to have borrowed from Woiwurrung language, with words of similar pronunciation, meaning either black crow or reedy swamp.Toorak House is owned by the Church of Sweden abroad. The Swedish Church and Cafe and Shop is open for visitors daily except on Mondays and Wednesdays.

St Catherine's School is an independent and non-denominational Christian day and boarding school for girls, located in Toorak, an inner south-eastern suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Established in 1896 as Castlemaine Ladies' College, the school has a non-selective enrolment policy. As for 2006 the school catered for approximately 730 students from pre-school to Year 12, including 80 boarders, on a 2.9 hectare campus. Boarding students come to St Catherine's from country Victoria, interstate and overseas.St Catherine's is a member of the Junior School Heads Association of Australia (JSHAA), the Alliance of Girls' Schools Australasia, the Association of Independent Schools of Victoria (AISV), the Australian Boarding Schools Association, and a founding member of Girls Sport Victoria (GSV).In August 2005, a huge scandal was brought upon the school when the then principal was found to be having unethical relations with students. The scandal was so large that it took over 2 years to find a replacement Sylvia Walter has been the campus principal and luckily enough, no other scandals like that have occurred. In October 2007, Sylvia Walton AO was appointed as the twelfth principal of St Catherine's School.

Pic Nic railway station, alternatively Pic-Nic, Pic-nic or Picnic, was a railway station in Melbourne, Australia. It was located on the Hawthorn line (now the Alamein, Belgrave and Lilydale lines), on the Melbourne side of the Hawthorn Railway Bridge, between Church Street (now East Richmond) and Hawthorn stations. The line to the station was opened by the Melbourne and Suburban Railway Company on 24 September 1860, and extended to Hawthorn in 1861 with the completion of the Hawthorn Railway Bridge across the Yarra River. The station closed on 19 July 1898. The station was the scene of a serious accident on 2 December 1882, when two trains collided head-on. One person was killed and 178 injured when a special train, returning from land sales at Box Hill, collided with a scheduled train from Melbourne to Camberwell.

Richmond Park was a railway station of the Glen Iris line in Melbourne, Australia. The station was situated between Burnley railway station and Heyington railway station. The station was opened in March 1890, but was closed just two months later in May 1890. The station was located in Richmond Park.

Heyington railway station is located on the Glen Waverley line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the eastern Melbourne suburb of Toorak, and it opened on 24 March 1890.Duplication of the line between Heyington and Burnley stations occurred in 1926, with duplication between Heyington and Kooyong stations occurring in 1955. In 1969, the current overpass, located just beyond the Up end of the station, and which crosses over the Yarra River and the Monash Freeway, was provided.The current station building on Platform 1 was provided in 1975. Parcel facilities were also abolished around this time.St Kevin's College is located adjacent to Platform 2.

Como House is a historical house, with associated gardens in the City of Stonnington, Victoria, Australia. It was constructed in 1847 for Sir Edward Eyre Williams, and now serves as a tourist attraction under the custodianship of the National Trust of Australia. The gardens are open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. The historic house is open for guided tours every Saturday and Sunday.

Herring Island is a small 3.2 hectares (7.9 acres) artificial island located in Melbourne's Yarra River at South Yarra, approximately 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) from the city centre. It is the only island in the Yarra River. Herring Island was formed in 1928 by cutting a channel through an old basalt quarry. The island was leased for many years by the scout movement, who named it after their patron, Sir Edmund Herring, the Lieutenant-Governor of Victoria and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Victoria. The Island contains indigenous vegetation, and provides important habitat for native fauna, particularly birds. It is currently managed by Parks Victoria and used as a sculpture park. Sculptures include works by Jill Peck, Ellen Jose, and Andy Goldsworthy.

Burnley railway station is the junction station for the Lilydale, Belgrave, Alamein and Glen Waverley lines in Victoria, Australia. It serves the inner eastern Melbourne suburb of Burnley, and it opened on 1 May 1880 as Burnley Street. It was renamed Burnley on 1 September 1882.Train stabling facilities are located at the eastern (Down) end of the station, adjacent to the Glen Waverley line, while an additional, rarely-used siding is located at the western (Up) end. In August 1943, as part of the Ashworth Improvement Plan, a flyover was constructed east of the station, to allow Glen Waverley line trains to cross over the Hawthorn-bound line.The Madden Grove level crossing, located nearby in the Down direction on the Glen Waverley line, was provided in 1963, replacing an earlier level crossing. In 1966, the signal box was rebuilt, the Burnley Street level crossing was grade-separated and the line towards Richmond expanded to quadruple track. The third track to Hawthorn was commissioned in 1972. The stabling facilities were provided in 1997, as part of the closure and replacement of Jolimont Yard.Burnley was upgraded to a Premium Station on 19 December 2008. On 30 November 2017, the signal box was abolished, with control transferred to Metrol.
