Epsom Girls' Grammar School

The Almorah Rock Forest (also known as the Epsom Rock Forest) is a lava rock forest located on the northeastern slope of Maungawhau / Mount Eden, in Auckland, New Zealand. It is one of the few remaining lava rock forests in the region.

Beth Shalom is a Progressive Jewish congregation and synagogue, located in Auckland, New Zealand. It is the largest progressive congregation in the country. The congregation was started in 1952 and later a temple was constructed and consecrated in 1960. It is a member of the Union for Progressive Judaism. Government House, Auckland is the secondary official residence of the governor-general of New Zealand located in Auckland, New Zealand. The property is situated in the Auckland suburb of Mount Eden on Mountain Road. The building was erected in the 1920s as a private residence for Frank Mappin. Its construction required the demolition of another structure from the late-19th century. The Mappin family continued to own the residence until 1962, when they gave it to the Crown. The property has served as the official residence of the governor-general since 1969, following the departure of the Mappin family from property. Government House, Auckland is the not the first property to serve as viceregal official residence in Auckland. The first Government House built in Auckland was completed in 1841, and was used as the residence for the governor of New Zealand until it burned down in 1848. Several other residences in Auckland were used to house the governor before Old Government House was completed in 1856. The present Government House replaced Old Government House as the governor-general's residence in Auckland in 1969.

Westfield Newmarket is a shopping centre in Newmarket, a central suburb of Auckland, New Zealand. The centre initially opened in the 1980s; in early 2018, the centre closed for a major re-build and expansion; it re-opened in August 2019 after an 18 month closure. The centre is located at 277 Broadway and, since expansion, 309 Broadway; it was often referred to simply as 277 prior to refurbishment.

Eden Garden is a garden in Mt Eden, Auckland set in 2 hectares of former quarry land. It was established in 1964 and is open to the public for an admission fee. Eden Garden was donated to the people of New Zealand in 1965 and is managed by The Eden Garden Society, Inc., a not-for-profit society.The garden's many collections of plants include what is reputed to be the largest collection of camellias in New Zealand, vireyas (tropical rhododendrons) some of which are always in bloom, Japanese maples, magnolias, hibiscus, bromeliads, native trees, interesting rock formations, waterfalls, and a spectacular perennial garden. In recent years the annual spring Eden Garden Tulip Festival, held over a weekend in late August/early September at least since 2011, has been one of the biggest and best in Auckland. There is always something of interest in bloom. This little oasis close to the heart of Auckland city is described by New Zealand's bestgardening.com website as "one of the loveliest and most tranquil inner city gardens around."

Dilworth School, often referred to simply as Dilworth, is an independent full boarding school for boys in Auckland, New Zealand. It is the largest full boarding school in both the country and Australasia. Owned and operated by a charitable trust, boys selected to attend do so on scholarships covering education and boarding costs.

Newmarket (Māori: Niumākete) is an Auckland suburb to the south-east of the central business district. With its high building density, especially of retail shops, it is considered New Zealand's premier retailing area, and a rival of local competitor Auckland CBD. While as early as 1873, Newmarket has been referred to as a 'suburb' of Auckland, in fact until the amalgamation of the borough councils into Auckland City Council in 1989, local governance was by the Newmarket Borough Council, with its own Mayor. The borough, while one of the smallest in the Auckland Region, was also one of the busiest. This is especially true of Broadway, the main street, which has large shopping centres and smaller retail tenancies (with a total of over 400 stores as of mid-2010), two movie theatres, and numerous restaurants, bars and cafés.
