Samarès Manor (Jèrriais: Mangni d'Sanmathès) is a manor house with medieval origins in the Vingtaine de Samarès, in the parish of St. Clement in Jersey, and is the traditional home of the Seigneur de Samarès. The name Samarès is an old French word meaning salt-marsh, and much of the low-lying surrounding areas are or were coastal marshes. The gardens are open to the public from April until October.

Vingtaine de Samarès is one of the three vingtaines of the Parish of St. Clement in Jersey, Channel Islands. It takes its name from the salt marsh that used to occupy much of the area of this low-lying coastal vingtaine. Samarès used to be served by the Jersey Eastern Railway. The local train station was opened on 7 August 1873, and closed on 21 June 1929. The station building still exists, and is now a private house.

St Clement (Jèrriais: Saint Cliément) is one of the twelve parishes of Jersey in the Channel Islands. Its parish hall is around 3.6 kilometres (2.2 mi) south-east of St Helier. The parish has a population of 9,221 and is the second most densely populated. Located on the south-east coast of the island, stretching from Le Dicq in the west to near La Rocque in the east, it is the smallest parish, with a surface area of just 2,440 vergées (4 km2). The parish is largely suburbanised, with a large spread of post-war low-density housing development. There is no easily definable centre to the parish. The parish hall, schools and church are located in different areas. The parish is also home to a number of sports facilities, such as FB Fields and St Clement's Golf Club.

Nicolle Tower is a tower in the parish of St Clement in Jersey. It was built in 1821 for Philippe Nicolle as a hexagonal folly house on the site of an earlier navigation tower on Mont Ubé. It is adjacent to the Mont Ubé dolmen. During the occupation of the Channel Islands the German forces made some modifications to this tower, extending its height with a new top floor, including narrow windows, so that they could use the tower as an observation post. There are other structures near-by, including gun emplacements, and bunkers which were constructed during the occupation.

La Motte (French pronunciation: [la mɔt]) is a tidal island, and listed archaeological site, also known as Green Island, located in the Vingtaine de Samarès in the parish of St Clement on the south-east coast of Jersey, Channel Islands. There is evidence of human visits to the island since Neolithic times, having left a cairn, a number of middens and cists which were uncovered in the early 20th century. The island rises to 17 metres (56 ft) above mean sea level and can only be accessed at low tide. The rock is from the late Pleistocene covered with loess below a grassy surface.

Jersey College for Girls (Jèrriais: Lé collège jèrriais pour les fil'yes), commonly referred to as JCG, is a government-run, fee-paying, academically selective secondary school for girls in Saint Saviour, Jersey. It was founded in 1880 in Saint Helier as Jersey Ladies' College. In 1887, the college moved to a purpose-built site on La Pouquelaye and in 1999, it moved again to its present site, on Mont Millais, across from Victoria College, the government fee-paying school for boys. Despite being owned by the States of Jersey, JCG charges tuition fees of £2,813 per term in the 2024/25 school year.

St Saviour (Jèrriais: St Saûveur; French: Saint-Sauveur) is a parish of Jersey in the Channel Islands. It is located directly east of St Helier. It has a population of 13,580. It has a land surface area of 3.6 square miles (9.3 km2) and has a very small coastline at Le Dicq. The parish is quite urbanised, hosting the suburbs and exurbs for the town of St Helier. The most notable settlement is located around the Five Oaks area in the centre of the parish and Georgetown in the South. The village of Maufant is located on the boundary with St Martin.

Victoria College is a Government-run, fee-paying, academically selective day school for boys in St Helier, Jersey. Founded in 1852, the school is named after Queen Victoria. It is owned and administered by the Government of Jersey and is located on Mont Millais adjacent to Jersey College for Girls, the Government fee-paying secondary school for girls. As a fee-charging school and a member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference (HMC), Victoria College is often considered a private school or a public school in the British sense of the term, despite receiving government funding. The school is selective, meaning prospective pupils must pass an entrance exam to be offered a place. The school charges £2,240 per term, with three terms per academic year, as of 2021/2022, and was noted as being the seventh-least expensive day school in the HMC in 2014. The senior school has about 650 boys aged 11 to 18, with a further 250 boys aged 7 to 11 at the associated preparatory school, which was established in 1922.

Beaulieu Convent School is a Roman Catholic independent school for girls located in St Helier, Jersey. Beaulieu's sister school is De La Salle College, Jersey Today the school is divided into preschool, primary and secondary departments, and also operates a sixth form. Courses of study offered at the school include GCSEs, A Levels and BTECs.

Le Rocquier School is a secondary school, owned and operated by the States of Jersey, in the parish of Saint Clement, Jersey.

Vingtaine du Rocquier (Jèrriais: Vîngtaine du Rotchi) is one of the three vingtaines of the Parish of Saint Clement in Jersey. Rotchi means rock or rocky place in Jèrriais, and the vingtaine covers generally low-lying coastal terrain stretching north from Le Hocq and rising up hillsides. Within the vingtaine are Saint Clement's school (primary) and Le Rocquier School.
