Red Lion, Delaware

Red Lion Creek is a stream in the U.S. state of Delaware. It is a tributary of the Delaware River.Red Lion Creek took its name from a tavern of the same name near its course in Red Lion.

W. Casperson House is a historic home located at St. Georges, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built about 1835, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, five bay brick erection with a center hall plan. It has a low two-story wing. Both sections have a gable roof with dormers.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Bear is a census-designated place (CDP) in New Castle County, Delaware, United States. The population was 19,371 at the 2010 census. Originally a small crossroads in a rural area, approximately 14 miles (23 km) south of Wilmington, the area supported small farms growing mainly corn and cattle. In the late 1980s and 1990s Bear became a popular location for the construction of sprawling housing developments and shopping centers along U.S. Route 40. Much of Bear runs along the highway, and extends to approximately Delaware Route 896.

Wrangle Hill is an unincorporated community in New Castle County, Delaware, United States. Wrangle Hill is located at the intersection of U.S. Route 13, Delaware Route 7, and Delaware Route 72 west of Delaware City. The community was named after a feud between two early families.

Starl House was a historic home located at St. Georges, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built before 1822, and was a 2+1⁄2-story, three-bay, brick dwelling with a gable roof and corbelled brick cornice. The house had a side hall plan and was in the Late Federal style.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It was demolished before 1992.

Buena Vista is a historic home located at New Castle, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built between 1845 and 1847, and is a two-story, five-bay, brick dwelling in the Greek Revival style. It has a service wing and a long wing designed by architect R. Brognard Okie containing a long hall and library. It features a full width verandah supported by Doric order columns. It was the home of U.S. Senator and Secretary of State John M. Clayton (1796-1856) and U.S. Senator and Delaware Governor C. Douglass Buck (1890-1965), who donated it to the State of Delaware. It is operated as the Buena Vista Conference Center by the State of Delaware. The estate originally was named in commemoration of the Battle of Buena Vista in the Mexican–American War. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

It has more people than the other two counties, Kent and Sussex, combined. It is also the most economically developed of the three.

James Stewart Jr. House is a historic home located at Christiana, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in the late-18th century, and is a two-story, five bay, brick dwelling. It consists of a three bay, double pile section and a two bay single pile section. The front facade features a three bay, one story, hip-roofed facade porch with turned posts and added in the 20th century.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Charles Allen House is a historic home located at Christiana, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in the first half of the 19th century, and is a two-story, three-bay, single pile, gable-roofed dwelling. The main block is constructed of brick, and it has a two-story, one-bay frame addition built in the late-19th / early-20th century and a one-story, flat-roofed, stuccoed rear addition.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.Following the construction of a modern development, the house's address is now on Lauren Place, off Blue Ridge Road.
