Margalla Hills National Park

Losar Baoli (the Losar Stepwell) is a stepwell in the Margalla Hills of the Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan. Near the town of Shah Allah Ditta in the Potohar Plateau, the area was a passageway for caravans and armies moving along the east–west direction. Constructed using dressed bricks, the well can be accessed from Shah Allah Ditta in Sector D-13, via the Kenthla-Haripur Road, established in 2007 by a federal minister. With a six-foot diameter, the well continues to supply water to local residents for their daily needs. Its surroundings, filled with trees and bird songs, provide a restful spot for locals and travelers.

The Shrine of Meher Ali Shah is a 20th-century Sufi shrine that serves as the tomb of the Peer Meher Ali Shah, an early 20th-century Sufi scholar of the Chisti order, who was also a leader of the anti-Ahmadiya movement. The shrine is located within the Islamabad Capital Territory, in the village of Golra Sharif. Nowadays, Golra Sharif is widely known for one of its custodians (Sajjada nashin) Pir Syed Naseer Uddin Naseer Gilani. The shrine's longest-serving Sajjada nashin was Peer Syed Shah Abdul Haq Gilani, the younger son of Babuji, who took care of the shrine for approximately 46 years (from 1974 to his death in July 2020). Presently, the shrine is managed by the heirs of both, Syed Ghulam Moinuddin Gilani and Syed Shah Abdul Haq Gilani.

Golra Sharif (Urdu: گولڑہ شریف) is a town situated near the Margalla Hills in Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan, at about 520 m (1,710 ft) above sea level, 17 km (11 mi) from the ancient city of Taxila. It is known for the Mausoleum of Meher Ali Shah that yearly attracts thousands of devotees. Prior to the arrival of Meher Ali Shah's ancestors, Golra Sharif was a village in the suburbs of Rawalpindi.

Golra Sharif Junction Railway Station (Urdu and Punjabi: گولڑہ شریف جنکشن ریلوے اسٹیشن) is located on Golra road in Islamabad, Pakistan. It is part of Pakistan Railways. The Golra Sharif Railway Museum is located at this station. The station lies on the main line of the Pakistan Railways, which connects the rest of the country in the south and Peshawar in the north. More than 20 trains pass through this station every day. It is situated southwest of Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, at the altitude of 1994 feet. The building has Victorian architecture and comprises five hall-like rooms constructed in yellow stone masonry. The station originally linked Peshawar, Kohat, Havelian, and Multan. It now enjoys more importance due to the presence of its museum.

Golra Sharif Railway Museum, also known as Pakistan Railways Heritage Museum, is a railway museum located near Sector F-13 of Islamabad, Pakistan. It is located at the Golra Sharif railway station, a junction station in the Rawalpindi Division of Pakistan Railways, located at 1,994 feet above sea level, in the southeast of the Margalla Hills and east of the cradle of Gandhara civilization, the ancient city of Taxila.Established in 2003 and renovated in 2018, the railway museum consists of two galleries housing the relics and memorabilia associated with more than 150 years of rail heritage dating back to the days of the British Raj. The railway station, with its museum, is a major attraction for tourists and locals alike and is becoming a major attraction for railway enthusiasts.

The Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Islamabad is the diplomatic mission of North Korea to Pakistan. As of 2018, Kim Thae-sop is the Ambassador to Pakistan. North Korea also maintains a Consulate-General in Karachi, Pakistan.

The Air University (AU) (Urdu: جامعہ فضایہ) is a federally chartered public sector research university in Pakistan. Established in 2002, its main campus is located in the capital city of Islamabad, Pakistan. The university has two other functional campuses, Aerospace and Aviation Campus at Kamra and a campus at Multan. The university offers undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in artificial intelligence, business management, computer science, cyber security, engineering, medicine, and humanities. It is ranked among the country's top ten universities in the Engineering and Technology category by the Higher Education Commission.Air University is recognized by Higher Education Commission (Pakistan) and accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council and Pakistan Medical Commission. It is a member of Association of Commonwealth Universities of the United Kingdom and International Association of Universities

Fatima Jinnah Park (Urdu: فاطمہ جناح پارک), also known as Capital Park or F-9 Park, is a public recreational park that spans the whole of Sector F-9 of Islamabad, Pakistan. It is named after Mādar-e Millat Fatima Jinnah, the younger sister of the founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah. At 304 hectares (750 acres), it is just smaller than New York's Central Park. It was designed by Michael Japero, and was inaugurated in 1992. The park’s original master plan was prepared by the Japan International Cooperation Agency, and was revised in 2005 by Pakistani architect Nayyar Ali Dada.Fatima Jinnah Park's vast acreage is mostly covered by greenery, with a few man-made structures dotting the landscape. Most of the park area is effectively a wildlife sanctuary, except for a few areas of the park that are close to residential districts. The park is bounded by a steel fence with entrance doors placed at regular intervals, although only a few are routinely open and used. A further strip of land outside of the fence is lined with a footpath. A well laid network of footpaths lies inside the park, with neat grass and a few statues.

Bahria University (BU; Urdu: جامعہ بحریہ) is a public-sector university established in 2000 by the Pakistan Navy at Shangrilla Road, Sector E-8/1 in Islamabad, Pakistan. The university maintains campuses in Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore. Established by the Pakistan Navy in 2000, its status is semi-government. It offers programs in undergraduate, post-graduate, and doctoral studies. Its research is directed towards the development of engineering, philosophy, natural, social, and medical sciences. Bahria University has multidisciplinary programs that include Health Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Computer Sciences, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Law, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Psychology and Maritime Studies. The university is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities of the United Kingdom. The university research institutes offer scientific research in the development of medical, environmental, natural sciences as well as in engineering and philosophy. The Embassy of Austria in Islamabad is the diplomatic mission of Austria to Pakistan. It is located at 7-A, Street 21 in Sector F-8/2, Islamabad. Austria and Pakistan established diplomatic relations in 1956.The embassy provides consular services to Austrian citizens in Pakistan, and oversees bilateral relations between both countries. It is concurrently accredited to Afghanistan.The current Austrian ambassador to Pakistan is Andrea Wicke, appointed in October 2022.

Bahria College Islamabad (Urdu: بحریہ کالج اسلام آباد) is a school located in Islamabad, Pakistan. Its foundation stone was laid by the Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Iftikhar Ahmed Sirohey on 30 August 1986 under the supervision of Pakistan Navy.
