Metropol İstanbul is a mixed-use skyscraper in the Ataşehir district in Istanbul, Turkey. The tower was opened in 2018. Its height reaches 301 m (987 ft 6 in) including the twin spires at top, while its height at the roof level is 280 m (918 ft 8 in). It has 70 floors above ground level.

Arboretum Island (Turkish: Arboretum Adası), aka Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden (Turkish: Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanik Bahçesi), is an arboretum located in Ümraniye district Istanbul Province, Turkey. Opened in 2002 to the public, it was named in honor of Nezhat Gökyiğit, spouse of Turkish businessman Nihat Gökyiğit. It contains about 50,000 plants in an area covering 32 ha (79 acres).

Küçükbakkalköy is a neighborhood in the municipality of Ataşehir on the Asian side of Istanbul, Turkey. It is bounded on the northwest, north, and northeast by the Atatürk neighborhood, on the southeast by the Kayışdağı neighborhood, on the south by the İçerenköy neighborhood, and on the west by the Barbaros neighborhood. The name Küçükbakkalköy means "little grocery village." The name is said to come from the market held in the Greek village that formerly existed there. The neighborhood was referred to as Pakal-kioi (Πακαλ-κιοι) on a Greek tombstone dated 1875 in a cemetery in the neighborhood.The neighborhood is said to date from Byzantine times, with the neighborhood's Acısu Çeşmesi ("bitter water fountain") thought to be part of an old ayazma.Küçükbakkalköy is one of the historic Romani people in Turkey (Gypsy) neighborhoods of Istanbul, along with Sulukule, Selamsız, Çürüklük, Tophane, Çayırboyu, and Lonca. In 2006, there were reported to be 240 Romani households in the neighborhood.

Most buildings in Ataşehir are high-rise towers, while some of them (especially around the main public squares in the district) are among Istanbul's and Turkey's tallest skyscrapers. The M4 line (Kozyatağı and Yenisahra stations) of the Istanbul Metro serves the district.

Fenerbahçe Ülker Sports and Event Hall (Turkish: Fenerbahçe Ülker Spor ve Etkinlik Salonu) is a multi-purpose indoor arena that is located in Ataşehir, Istanbul, Turkey. The arena is owned and operated by Fenerbahçe S.K. The arena has a capacity of 15,000 people for concerts and 13,059 for basketball games, and it has hosted national and international sports events, such as basketball, volleyball, wrestling, and weightlifting; as well as concerts and congresses.

Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University (ACU) is a non-profit foundation university in Istanbul, Turkey, dedicated to the field of health sciences. The university was founded in 2007 by Mehmet Ali Aydınlar, an entrepreneur and founder of Acıbadem Healthcare Group, Turkey's leading healthcare institution. A number of Weapons found in the Ergenekon investigation form a key part of the Ergenekon trials, prosecuting the Ergenekon organization. The Ergenekon investigation officially began after an anonymous tip led to the finding of 27 grenades in Ümraniye, a district of Istanbul. The serial numbers of these grenades matched those of grenades found in other locations and some used in terrorist attacks.
