Ataşehir is a district of Istanbul, Turkey. It is located at the junction of the O-2 and O-4 motorways on the Anatolian (Asian) side of Istanbul. Its neighbours are the districts of Ümraniye to the north, Sancaktepe to the northeast, Maltepe to the east, Kadıköy to the south and Üsküdar to the west. As of 2021, the tallest skyscraper in Ataşehir, Istanbul and Turkey is Metropol Istanbul Tower 1 (70 floors, 301 metres tall including its twin spires), which is a mixed-use complex with three towers and a shopping mall.Unlike in Başakşehir, another satellite city (on the western part of the European side of Istanbul), no single-family house types were designed for Ataşehir's residential projects. Most buildings in Ataşehir are high-rise towers, while some of them (especially around the main public squares in the district) are among Istanbul's and Turkey's tallest skyscrapers. The M4 line (Kozyatağı and Yenisahra stations) of the Istanbul Metro serves the district.

Küçükbakkalköy is a neighborhood in the municipality of Ataşehir on the Asian side of Istanbul, Turkey. It is bounded on the northwest, north, and northeast by the Atatürk neighborhood, on the southeast by the Kayışdağı neighborhood, on the south by the İçerenköy neighborhood, and on the west by the Barbaros neighborhood. The name Küçükbakkalköy means "little grocery village." The name is said to come from the market held in the Greek village that formerly existed there. The neighborhood was referred to as Pakal-kioi (Πακαλ-κιοι) on a Greek tombstone dated 1875 in a cemetery in the neighborhood.The neighborhood is said to date from Byzantine times, with the neighborhood's Acısu Çeşmesi ("bitter water fountain") thought to be part of an old ayazma.Küçükbakkalköy is one of the historic Romani people in Turkey (Gypsy) neighborhoods of Istanbul, along with Sulukule, Selamsız, Çürüklük, Tophane, Çayırboyu, and Lonca. In 2006, there were reported to be 240 Romani households in the neighborhood.

Kayışdağı is an underground station on the M8 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located on Dudullu Street in the Kayışdağı neighbourhood of Ataşehir. It was opened on 6 January 2023.

İçerenköy is a neighbourhood located in the borough of Ataşehir on the Asian side of Istanbul, Turkey. İçerenköy is home to the Swiss Hospital (Turkish: İsviçre Hastanesi), the 5-star hotels Greenpark and Marriott, and Hasan Leyli Secondary School (Turkish: Hasan Leyli İlköğretim Okulu), which is the largest of its kind in Ataşehir. Its proximity to transport amenities and ease of access, as well as its recent modernisation, make it a sought-after neighbourhood.

Yenisahra is a neighborhood in the Ataşehir district of Istanbul, Turkey. It is situated on the Anatolian side of the city, on the border of the Kadıköy district. The place became neighborhood in 1974 and its current population is around 12,000.

Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University (ACU) is a non-profit foundation university in Istanbul, Turkey, dedicated to the field of health sciences. The university was founded in 2007 by Mehmet Ali Aydınlar, an entrepreneur and founder of Acıbadem Healthcare Group, Turkey's leading healthcare institution. Metropol İstanbul is a mixed-use skyscraper in the Ataşehir district in Istanbul, Turkey. The tower was opened in 2018. Its height reaches 301 m (987 ft 6 in) including the twin spires at top, while its height at the roof level is 280 m (918 ft 8 in). It has 70 floors above ground level.

Fenerbahçe University or FBU for short, is a private university in Istanbul established by the relevant foundation of the Fenerbahçe Sports Club. Arboretum Island (Turkish: Arboretum Adası), aka Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden (Turkish: Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanik Bahçesi), is an arboretum located in Ümraniye district Istanbul Province, Turkey. Opened in 2002 to the public, it was named in honor of Nezhat Gökyiğit, spouse of Turkish businessman Nihat Gökyiğit. It contains about 50,000 plants in an area covering 32 ha (79 acres).

Fenerbahçe Ülker Sports and Event Hall (Turkish: Fenerbahçe Ülker Spor ve Etkinlik Salonu) is a multi-purpose indoor arena that is located in Ataşehir, Istanbul, Turkey. The arena is owned and operated by Fenerbahçe S.K. The arena has a capacity of 15,000 people for concerts and 13,059 for basketball games, and it has hosted national and international sports events, such as basketball, volleyball, wrestling, and weightlifting; as well as concerts and congresses.

Bostancı is an underground station on the M4 line of the Istanbul Metro. Located under beneath the Bostancı Interchange in the Bostancı neighborhood of Kadıköy, Istanbul, it was opened on 17 August 2012. Bostancı is the largest metro station on the M4, consisting of three tracks and two platforms. Connections to IETT bus service is available on both levels of the interchange.The mezzanine level of the station has a total of five exits to each side of the Bostancı interchange.
