Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, commonly referred to as Lehigh Valley Hospital, is a hospital located at 1200 South Cedar Crest Boulevard in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It is the largest hospital in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania, and the third-largest hospital in the state after UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. The hospital has 877 licensed beds and 46 operating rooms. Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital, a children's hospital, is also located on the hospital's Cedar Crest campus in Allentown. Dorneyville is a census-designated place in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. As of the 2020 census the population was 4,850. Dorneyville is located just west of Allentown in South Whitehall Township and Salisbury Township. It is located off Interstate 78 and is home to the northern terminus of U.S. Route 222. It is split between the Allentown ZIP Codes of 18103 and 18104. It is part of the Lehigh Valley metropolitan area, which had a population of 861,899 and was the 68th-most populous metropolitan area in the U.S. as of the 2020 census. Kemmerer House, also known as the Mr. & Mrs. Russell L. Pellett Residence and Irongate, is a historic home located in Emmaus, Pennsylvania. It was built between 1840 and 1850 and is a two-story, masonry dwelling with Georgian style influences. It has a five bay wide front facade. Also on the property is a Pennsylvania-German forbay barn.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

East Penn School District is a large public school district in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. Established in 1952, it was initially known as the East Penn Union School District. East Penn School District serves students from Emmaus, Lower Macungie Township, Macungie, Upper Milford Township, and Alburtis, all located in the Lehigh Valley, the third-largest metropolitan region of Pennsylvania. The district operates Emmaus High School in Emmaus for grades nine through 12, two public middle schools (Eyer Middle School and Lower Macungie Middle School, both located in Macungie) for grades six through eight, seven public elementary schools (located in Alburtis, Emmaus, Macungie, and Wescosville) for kindergarten through fifth grade, and one public elementary charter school (Seven Generations Charter School, located in Emmaus). Talon is an inverted roller coaster located at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard and designed by Werner Stengel at a cost of $13 million, Talon opened to the public in 2001 and was marketed as the tallest and longest inverted coaster in the Northeast. It stands 135-foot (41 m) tall, reaches a maximum speed of 58 mph (93 km/h), and features four inversions.

Steel First was a junior steel roller coaster located at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in South Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania. Manufactured by the Allan Herschell Company, the ride opened to the public in 1985. The coaster was originally located at Santa's Village in East Dundee, Illinois, where it was known as Snowball Express. It was removed in 1985 and placed in storage, until it was bought and moved to Dorney Park. Maximum rider height was 54".It was originally named the Colossus Junior & Little Laser, but its name was changed to Steel First for the 2009 season after the removal of another roller coaster at the park known as Laser. Steel First operated until the 2010 season and has since been removed.
