Oriole (provincial electoral district)

Oriole GO Station is a small train station on GO Transit's Richmond Hill line. It is located under the Highway 401 overpass, west of Leslie Street in the North York district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is about half a kilometre south of Leslie subway station on Line 4 Sheppard of the Toronto Transit Commission. A pedestrian walkway along the east side of tracks connects the north end of the platform to Esther Shiner Boulevard and a short walk along Old Leslie Street leads to the upper, automated entrance to the subway station. It has been proposed several times that the GO station should be moved to allow for a direct connection with the subway.There is a narrow footbridge over the track, allowing pedestrians to walk between the station to Woodsworth Road. This bridge will be replaced by a new, wider bridge farther south. The 30-metre (98 ft) metre bridge will be enclosed in a mesh safety screen and have an anti-slip floor.Nearby points of interest include the Concord Park Place condominium complex, IKEA North York, and North York General Hospital.

Concord Park Place is a 45-acre (18 ha) multi-tower condominium complex under construction by developer Concord Adex in Toronto, Ontario. The development is the second largest master-planned community in Toronto, behind CityPlace on Toronto's waterfront. Upon completion, the development will have 20 residential towers with around 10,000 residents, 2 new schools and a community centre. The site is located between Sheppard Avenue, Leslie Street, Highway 401, and Bessarion Road, and creates a south extension of the Bayview Village neighbourhood of North York.

North York General Hospital (NYGH) is a teaching hospital in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Bayview Village is an neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is part of the federal Don Valley North riding and the provincial Don Valley North electoral district, and Toronto electoral Ward 17: Don Valley North. In 2006, it had a population of 15,370.The area is bordered on the north by Finch Avenue East, on the west by Bayview Avenue, on the east by Leslie Street, and on the south by Highway 401, and also including the grounds of North York General Hospital, east of Leslie in the neighbourhood's southeast corner, according to the City of Toronto's definition. The Bayview Village Association regards the east boundary as the Don River (east branch) and the south boundary as Sheppard Avenue East, thereby excluding land between the Don River and Leslie, Sheppard and Highway 401.
