Sacred Heart High School is a Roman Catholic high school for girls in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. Located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles, the school was founded by the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose in 1907.

The Church of the Epiphany is the oldest operating Episcopal church in Los Angeles. The church's campus is located at the intersection of Sichel and Altura streets in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood. In 2005 it was designated a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.The congregation was founded in 1887. The original church was designed in the Romanesque Revival style by English architect Ernest Coxhead. In 1913 that building was converted to the parish hall and Arthur Benton was commissioned to design a new church sanctuary. Benton's structure incorporated Gothic Revival and Mission Revival in addition to Romanesque Revival. The pipe organ was designed by Henry Pilcher & Sons of Louisville, Kentucky.In 1968, the church served as a planning base for the East L.A. Chicano student walkouts and the Chicano Moratorium anti-Vietnam War protest. Cesar Chavez gave speeches in the parish hall and La Raza, an underground pro-Chicano newspaper, was printed in the church basement.The non-profit Epiphany Conservation Trust was founded in 2010 to raise funds to restore the church. Restoration is being directed by the Los Angeles firm of Escher GuneWardena Architecture. Repairs began in 2011 and to date have covered structural work on the parish hall and restoration of four stained glass windows.

Lincoln Heights Branch Library is the second oldest branch library in the Los Angeles Public Library system. Located in the Lincoln Heights section of Los Angeles, California, it was built in the Classical Revival and Italian Renaissance Revival styles in 1916 with a grant from Andrew Carnegie. One of three surviving Carnegie libraries in Los Angeles, it has been designated as a Historic-Cultural Monument and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Abraham Lincoln High School, usually referred to simply as Lincoln High School, is a secondary school located in the Lincoln Heights district of Los Angeles, California, United States. Located in the East Los Angeles-area community, surrounded by El Sereno, Chinatown, Boyle Heights and Cypress Park. The school is named after Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, and was one of the first public high schools established in California. It is one of the District 5 high schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District, the second largest school district in the US. Lincoln students are drawn from Chinatown and other areas. Cypress Park residents may attend either Lincoln or Franklin High School.

The Los Angeles Alligator Farm, located next door to the Los Angeles Ostrich Farm in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, United States, was an alligator farm and a major city tourist attraction from 1907 until 1953.Originally situated across from Lincoln Park, at 3627 Mission Road, it moved to Buena Park, California in 1953, where it was renamed the California Alligator Farm. The attraction was shut down in 1984 after attendance dropped below 50,000 people annually, and the animals were relocated to a private estate in Florida.

Central Juvenile Hall (also known as Eastlake Juvenile Hall or Central) is a youth detention center in Los Angeles County. Central houses both boys and girls. The Central Juvenile Hall complex was originally established in 1912 as the first juvenile detention facility in Los Angeles County. The hall sits on twenty-two and one-half acres of land in Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles. The facility has 24 buildings including living units, two infirmaries, two school buildings, two gyms, kitchen facilities, a chapel, and mechanical areas.

The Selig Zoo in Los Angeles, California was an early 20th century animal collection managed by Col. W.N. Selig for use in Selig Polyscope Company films and as a tourist attraction. Over the years the zoo was also known as the Luna Park Zoo, California Zoological Gardens, Zoopark, and, eventually, Lincoln Amusement Park. Los Angeles Fire Department Station No. 1 was built in 1941. The Streamline Moderne station located at 2230 Pasadena Avenue replaced an older station, 3 blocks west of its current location. Built in 1887, the original station was the city of Los Angeles' first professional, full-time fire station. The former station's plot of land at Pasadena Ave & North Avenue 19 now houses the LAFD's supply and maintenance yard.Built under the auspices of the Works Progress Administration, the new 6,534 sq ft station was built at a cost of $65,000.00 USD, with the city of Los Angeles responsible for $29,000.00 USD. P. K. Schabarum and Charles O. Brittain of the Los Angeles City Department of Construction were responsible for the station's design.When the new station opened on March 6, 1941, the two-story, reinforced concrete structure housed Engine Company No. 1 and Truck Company No. 1, as well as serving as the headquarters for Battalion Chief 2.The station was listed as Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument #156 on July 7, 1976.

Lincoln Park in Los Angeles, California, was originally created by the City of Los Angeles in 1881 from land donated by John Strother Griffin. It was one of Los Angeles's first parks. It was originally called East Los Angeles Park, then Eastlake Park in 1901. On May 19, 1917, the park was renamed Lincoln Park after Lincoln High School.
