Shijing Station (Chinese: 石井站; pinyin: Shíjǐng Zhàn; Jyutping: sek2 zeng2 zaam6) is a metro station of Guangzhou Metro Line 8, at Shijing Subdistrict, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. The station opened on November 26, 2020, with the opening of the northern extension of Line 8.The station has an underground island platform. Platform 1 is for trains towards Jiaoxin, whilst platform 2 is for trains towards Wanshengwei. There are 4 exits, lettered A, B, C and D. Exit B is accessible. Exit A is located on Shijing Avenue, whilst exits B, C and D are located on Shisha Road.

Guangzhou Baiyun railway station (Chinese: 广州白云站; pinyin: Guǎngzhōu Báiyún zhàn) is a railway station in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. It opened on 26 December 2023, and serves as a major transport hub in Guangzhou.A spur from the Beijing–Guangzhou high-speed railway will connect to this station. It will also be the terminus of the planned Guangzhou–Zhanjiang high-speed railway.: 12

Dazhou Station (Chinese: 大洲站; pinyin: Dàzhōu Zhàn; Jyutping: daai6zau1 zaam6) is a station of Guangzhou Metro Line 7, located underground within Dazhou Village on Dazhou Road, Shibi Subdistrict, Panyu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. The station was opened on 1 May 2022, with the opening of the western extension of Line 7. This is the last station on the line westbound before it enters Foshan's Shunde District.

On 2 October 1990, a hijacked Boeing 737, operating Xiamen Airlines Flight 8301, collided with two other aircraft on the runways of the old Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport while attempting to land. The hijacked aircraft struck parked China Southwest Airlines Flight 4305 first, inflicting only minor damage, but then collided with China Southern Airlines Flight 3523, a Boeing 757 waiting to take off, flipping onto its back. A total of 128 people were killed, including seven of nine crew members and 75 of 93 passengers on Flight 8301 and 46 of 110 passengers on Flight 3523.
