Illoinen (Finnish; Illois in Swedish) is a district of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located in the western part of the island of Hirvensalo, off the city's coastline. Illoinen is one of the smallest districts of Turku, with a population of only 85 (as of 2004). The population is decreasing at an annual rate of 1.18%. 21.18% of the district's population are under 15 years old, while 15.29% are over 65. 100% of the district's inhabitants speak Finnish as their native language.

Särkilahti is a district of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located in the central part of the island of Hirvensalo, off the city's coastline. The second of the two schools on Hirvensalo is located in Särkilahti. Ruissalo (Finnish: [ˈrui̯ˌsːɑlo]; Swedish: Runsala) is an island in the Archipelago Sea and a district of the city of Turku, Finland. The island is located to the south-west of the city, between Hirvensalo and Pansio in the mainland. It is rather sparsely populated, having a population of only 126 (as of 2004), with an annual growth rate of 3.97%. The villas on the island are considered culturally and historically valuable in Finland. Some are used as guesthouses; some are owned and run by foundations, labor unions, sports teams, and private enterprises in the area; some can be rented freely for days for private parties such as weddings; some have cafeterias in them. Private ownership exists – a couple villas even have renters with very selective occupancy. Some villas have deteriorated because of the high maintenance costs due to the historical building methods that must be used here. One of the largest old oak forests in Finland is situated on the island and many parts of it are included in nature conservation programs. In the westernmost part of the island there is a spa and a camping area. Turku golf course is also situated here. The botanical garden of the University of Turku is situated in the middle of the island. Near the southern tip of the western part of the island was once a small, unofficial nude beach. Official nude beaches in Finland can only be found in Helsinki and in Pori. 15.08% of the district's population are under 15 years old, while 13.49% are over 65. The district's linguistic makeup is 88.89% Finnish, 8.73% Swedish, and 2.38% other. The island hosts the annual rock festival Ruisrock. The Paavo Nurmi Marathon route goes through Ruissalo.

Ruisrock is a rock festival held annually on the island of Ruissalo in Turku, Finland. Ruisrock, founded in 1970, is the second oldest rock festival in Europe (after Pinkpop) and the oldest in Finland. The festival has attracted international artists throughout its lifetime except around the start of the 2000s (decade), due to the organiser's economic issues.

Artukainen (Swedish Artukais) is a district of the city of Turku, Finland. It is located in the western part of the city, five kilometres from the city centre. It has a population of 78 (as of 2004) making it one of the smallest districts of Turku. The district's relatively small population is due to its status as one of the biggest industrial concentrations in the city. Finland's first airport was built in Artukainen in 1935. It served as the main airport of Turku until Turku Airport was built in 1955. The former runway of the Artukainen Airport is nowadays replaced with Turku Fair Centre, and an ice hockey stadium, Turkuhalli.

Gatorade Center (formerly HK Areena, Elysée Arena, Typhoon Arena, but commonly referred to as Turkuhalli in Finnish and Åbohallen in Swedish) is a multi-functional indoor arena in the district of Artukainen in Turku, Finland. Opened in November 1990, it can hold up to 11,820 spectators for ice hockey games. It is primarily used for ice hockey, and is the home arena of TPS, but it is also frequently used to host concerts and other events such as the Maata Näkyvissä Festival. A record attendance of 12,041 for a hockey match was registered in 1991. Gatorade Center is a member of the European Arenas Association (EAA).

Pansio is a district and a suburb of the city of Turku, Finland. It is located in the western part of the city. It has a population of 2,809 (as of 2006), and an annual population growth of -3.83%. 19.25% of the district's population are under 15 years old, while 11.85% are over 65. The district's linguistic makeup is 87.82% Finnish, 1.55% Swedish, and 10.93% other. Pansio has a problem with unemployment, with an unemployment rate of 14.2% - the sixth highest of all districts in Turku. A good part of the district is industrial area, and parts of the Port of Turku are located there. Pansio also hosts a naval base of the Finnish Navy, Archipelago Sea Naval Command.

The current (as of 2004) population of Toijainen is 102, and it is increasing at an annual rate of 24.51%. 25.49% of the district's population are under 15 years old, while 15.69% are over 65. The district's linguistic makeup is 87.25% Finnish and 12.75% Swedish.

Perno is a district in the Naantalintie ward of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located to the west of the city, and is mainly a high-density residential suburb. There is also a large maritime dock (Meyer Turku) located there. The current (as of 2004) population of Perno is 2,513, and it is increasing at an annual rate of 0.28%. 17.83% of the district's population are under 15 years old, while 9.39% are over 65. The district's linguistic makeup is 90.81% Finnish, 2.39% Swedish, and 6.80% other.
