Grosvenor Museum is a museum in Chester, Cheshire, in the United Kingdom. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. Its full title is The Grosvenor Museum of Natural History and Archaeology, with Schools of Science and Art, for Chester, Cheshire and North Wales. It takes its name from the family name of the Dukes of Westminster, who are major landowners in Cheshire. The museum opened in 1886, it was extended in 1894, and major refurbishments took place between 1989 and 1999. Its contents include archaeological items from the Roman period, paintings, musical instruments, and a room arranged as a Victorian parlour.

Chester Carmelite Friary, otherwise Chester Whitefriars, was a friary in the city of Chester in Cheshire, England. The Carmelites were present in Chester from the late 1270s and by the mid-14th century were established as a well-regarded community. Their church and graveyard were popular for burials of the well-to-do and the friary was often mentioned in Chester wills. Their church steeple when rebuilt in 1495 became a useful landmark for ships. The friary was dissolved in 1538. There are no surviving buildings but the street name Whitefriars preserves the memory of the community.

It was unveiled in 1903, the sculptor was Frederick William Pomeroy, and the statue is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

The Falcon is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. The building formerly incorporated part of Chester Rows, but it was the first building to have its portion of the row enclosed in the 17th century.

Three Old Arches is a building at 48 Bridge Street, Chester, Cheshire, England. Together with the adjacent building at No. 50, it is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. The buildings incorporate part of the Chester Rows. The stone frontage at the street and row levels of No. 48 is considered to be the earliest shop front still surviving in England. It was once the largest-known medieval town house in the Chester Rows, and the stone-walled hall at the row level extending to No. 50 was the largest hall set parallel to the rows in Chester.

38 Bridge Street is a commercial property in Chester, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade listed building. The building was constructed in 1897 and was designed by the local architects Douglas and Fordham. It is the only new building designed by Douglas to incorporate a section of the Chester Rows.The building is in three storeys and is constructed in yellow sandstone and brick with stone dressings. The top storey is timber-framed. A modern shop front has been inserted into the lowest storey. The middle storey, which incorporates a section of the Rows, has a timber balustrade, behind which is the walkway, and then another shop front. The top storey is jettied. On the face overlooking Bridge Street are two six-light oriel windows under a gable, and a smaller three-light casement window to the right. On the south side, overlooking Pierpoint Lane, are small windows in both the middle and the upper storeys. Douglas' biographer Edward Hubbard considers it is one of his "most heavily decorated half-timber works".As of 2012 row level of the building is occupied by designer womenswear brand The Editeur, and the street level by Italian restaurant chain Carluccio's.

St Mary's Creative Space, formerly the Church of St Mary-on-the-Hill, stands at the top of St Mary's Hill, Chester, Cheshire, England, near Chester Castle. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. The church stands at the top of a narrow winding lane which leads down to the River Dee, and it is adjacent to Chester Castle. In the 1970s the church was converted into an educational centre. It is currently available for use as a concert and exhibition venue and the Chester Music Society hold many concerts there throughout the year. The venue is programmed by Theatre in the Quarter, and hosts a variety of art and cultural events, from homegrown Cestrian performers, national and international acts.
