Morton Meadows is a historic neighborhood located in Midtown Omaha, Nebraska. The neighborhood lies between Center and Leavenworth Streets, from 42nd Street to Saddle Creek, and is sometimes referred to by its central boulevard, Twin Ridge. It is near the Dundee area, as well as the Gold Coast, Field Club and Country Club historic districts.

Hanscom Park United Methodist Church is located at 4444 Frances Street in the Hanscom Park neighborhood of Omaha, Nebraska. Established in 1886, the congregation has long been a leader in Nebraska Conference of the United Methodist Church, and hosted at least one annual regional meeting. In 1953, the congregation's pastor gained national attention for forming a psychiatric support group for Methodist ministers.

Selby Apartments is a historic three-building apartment complex in Omaha, Nebraska built in 1942. It was designed in the Prairie School style by architect Reinholdt F. Hennig, and was built by Frank Selby. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Mercy High School is a private, all-girls, Roman Catholic high school in Omaha, Nebraska, United States, sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Omaha. It is the only high school in Omaha with a negotiated tuition program, so each family meets with the President at the start of each academic year to agree upon what they will pay for tuition. Mercy has approximately 385 students, 27 percent of whom are minorities. 98 percent of the graduating class goes on to college.

The original Columbian Elementary School is a former public elementary school located at 3819 Jones Street in Omaha, Nebraska. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Columbian School in 1990. It was declared an Omaha Landmark in 1990. Originally opened in the 400th anniversary year of Christopher Columbus's voyage to the Americas, the school is a two-story building that was opened in 1892 and named in honor of the captain. According to the City of Omaha Landmarks Heritage Preservation Commission, "Columbian School is an excellent and rare example of the Richardsonian Romanesque style of architecture." Notable Omaha architect John Latenser, Sr. employed the style for many of the most important civic and commercial buildings constructed in Omaha in the late 19th century.Following a rehabilitation in 1992, the former school was converted to rental residential space using federal historic preservation tax credits.When the original Columbian closed, the community requested its name be given to a new school.

The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is a public medical school in Omaha, Nebraska. Founded in 1869 and chartered as a private medical college in 1881, UNMC became part of the University of Nebraska System in 1902. Rapidly expanding in the early 20th century, the university founded a hospital, dental college, pharmacy college, college of nursing, and college of medicine. It later added colleges of public health and allied health professions. One of Omaha's top employers, UNMC has an annual budget of $841.6 million for 2020 to 2021, and an economic impact of $4.8 billion.

Field Club is a neighborhood located in the Midtown region of Omaha, Nebraska. Roughly bounded by Pacific Street, 32nd Avenue, Center St., and 36th Street, the neighborhood was placed on the National Register of Historic Places as a historic district on November 15, 2000. Field Club is the location of dozens of historically significant homes in the Omaha area, including the Gerald R. Ford Birthsite and Gardens.

Nebraska Medicine (formerly, The Nebraska Medical Center, Nebraska Health System), is a private not-for-profit American healthcare company based in Omaha, Nebraska. The company was created as Nebraska Health System (NHS) in 1997, when Bishop Clarkson Hospital merged with the adjacent University Hospital in midtown Omaha. Renamed The Nebraska Medical Center in 2003, in 2014 the company merged with UNMC Physicians and Bellevue Medical Center to become Nebraska Medicine. The company has full ownership of two hospitals and 39 specialty and primary care clinics in and around Omaha, with partial ownership in two rural hospitals and a specialty hospital. Nebraska Medicine's main campus, Nebraska Medicine – Nebraska Medical Center, has 718 beds, while its Bellevue Medical Center campus has 91 beds.The company operates the largest of only four dedicated biocontainment units in the United States, and is particularly recognized for programs in fields such as organ transplantation, cancer treatment, gastroenterology, neurology, neurosurgery, COPD, heart bypass surgery, heart failure treatment, and hip replacement. Ranked the No. 1 hospital in Nebraska and in Omaha by U.S. News & World Report in 2019, the publication also ranked Nebraska Medicine No. 35 in the United States for cancer and the best hospital in Nebraska. Nebraska Medicine operates as an independent clinical partner of the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

The West Farnam Apartments are located at 3817 Dewey Avenue in Midtown Omaha, Nebraska. The building was reportedly the first luxury apartment building constructed in Omaha.

The Brandeis–Millard House is located in the West Farnam neighborhood, which is part of the Gold Coast Historic District in Midtown Omaha, Nebraska. Its carriage house is located at 3815 Dewey Avenue in the same area. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, it was designated an Omaha Landmark on June 10, 1986.

The Bradford–Pettis House is a historic house located at 400 South 39th Street in Midtown Omaha, Nebraska. It was designated an Omaha Landmark on February 26, 1980, and added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 21, 1983.

The Charles D. McLaughlin House is located in the Gold Coast Historic District of Midtown Omaha, Nebraska. Designed in the Colonial Revival Style by noted Omaha architect John McDonald, it was built in 1905. The City of Omaha designated it an Omaha Landmark on March 16, 1982, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in November of that same year.
