Selby Apartments

The original Columbian Elementary School is a former public elementary school located at 3819 Jones Street in Omaha, Nebraska. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Columbian School in 1990. It was declared an Omaha Landmark in 1990. Originally opened in the 400th anniversary year of Christopher Columbus's voyage to the Americas, the school is a two-story building that was opened in 1892 and named in honor of the captain. According to the City of Omaha Landmarks Heritage Preservation Commission, "Columbian School is an excellent and rare example of the Richardsonian Romanesque style of architecture." Notable Omaha architect John Latenser, Sr. employed the style for many of the most important civic and commercial buildings constructed in Omaha in the late 19th century.Following a rehabilitation in 1992, the former school was converted to rental residential space using federal historic preservation tax credits.When the original Columbian closed, the community requested its name be given to a new school.

The Breckenridge–Gordon House is located at 3611 Jackson Street in Midtown Omaha, Nebraska. Built in 1905, the house was designed by Thomas Rogers Kimball for a prominent local attorney. Designated as an Omaha Landmark in 1982, the residence is located in the Gold Coast Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.Designed in the Georgian Revival style, the brick structure has three stories, an elegant front porch with a pediment and embellished Ionic columns. When the original owner was killed in an automobile accident, his daughter's new husband moved into the home. The Gordons sold it in 1947, and it was converted to apartments soon afterward.

The Charles D. McLaughlin House is located in the Gold Coast Historic District of Midtown Omaha, Nebraska. Designed in the Colonial Revival Style by noted Omaha architect John McDonald, it was built in 1905. The City of Omaha designated it an Omaha Landmark on March 16, 1982, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in November of that same year.

The Wattles House is located at 320 South 37th Street in the Midtown area of Omaha, Nebraska. Designed by renowned Omaha architect Thomas Kimball in the Chateauesque style, the house was built in 1895. It was designated an Omaha Landmark on April 11, 1995, and is part of the Gold Coast Historic District, which was listed as on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Blackstone Hotel is a historic hotel located at 302 South 36th Street in the Blackstone neighborhood of the Midtown area in Omaha, Nebraska. Built in 1915, it was declared an Omaha Landmark in 1983 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Mary Reed House, AKA "Mary Reed Residence" was built and designed in 1909 for the widow of philanthropist and real estate pioneer Byron Reed. It was built in the Gold Coast area of Omaha, Nebraska, which in the early 20th century was a neighborhood of great prestige. This red-brick building, now home to a law firm, was designed by architect F.A. Henninger in the Prairie style made famous by Frank Lloyd Wright. Located at 503 S. 35th St. in Omaha; it was designated as an Omaha Historical Landmark in 1982.

Kiewit Plaza is a high-rise office building in Omaha, Nebraska, U.S.. It is located at 3555 Farnam Street at the corner of S 36th Street. It was built from 1960 to 1961, and it was designed in the modernist architectural style.It has been home to the headquarters of Peter Kiewit and Sons and Berkshire Hathaway since 1962 when Warren Buffett dissolved his six partnerships into one partnership headquartered in this building. It is named after Peter Kiewit's construction company, Peter Kiewit Sons', a company considered to be one of the most profitable construction companies in the world and once called "Colossus of Roads", which is also headquartered in the building.
