Mercy High School is a private, all-girls, Roman Catholic high school in Omaha, Nebraska, United States, sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Omaha. It is the only high school in Omaha with a negotiated tuition program, so each family meets with the President at the start of each academic year to agree upon what they will pay for tuition. Mercy has approximately 385 students, 27 percent of whom are minorities. 98 percent of the graduating class goes on to college.

Gene Dunn purchased the restaurant in 2012, and renovated it for a 1950s decor. The house specialty is the T-bone steak, which is favored by Buffett, who orders it cooked rare, with a double order of hash browns and a Cherry Coke.There is dancing and live entertainment on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is a public medical school in Omaha, Nebraska. Founded in 1869 and chartered as a private medical college in 1881, UNMC became part of the University of Nebraska System in 1902. Rapidly expanding in the early 20th century, the university founded a hospital, dental college, pharmacy college, college of nursing, and college of medicine. It later added colleges of public health and allied health professions. Selby Apartments is a historic three-building apartment complex in Omaha, Nebraska built in 1942. It was designed in the Prairie School style by architect Reinholdt F. Hennig, and was built by Frank Selby. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

The original Columbian Elementary School is a former public elementary school located at 3819 Jones Street in Omaha, Nebraska. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Columbian School in 1990. It was declared an Omaha Landmark in 1990. Originally opened in the 400th anniversary year of Christopher Columbus's voyage to the Americas, the school is a two-story building that was opened in 1892 and named in honor of the captain. According to the City of Omaha Landmarks Heritage Preservation Commission, "Columbian School is an excellent and rare example of the Richardsonian Romanesque style of architecture." Notable Omaha architect John Latenser, Sr. employed the style for many of the most important civic and commercial buildings constructed in Omaha in the late 19th century.Following a rehabilitation in 1992, the former school was converted to rental residential space using federal historic preservation tax credits.When the original Columbian closed, the community requested its name be given to a new school.

Field Club is a neighborhood located in the Midtown region of Omaha, Nebraska. Roughly bounded by Pacific Street, 32nd Avenue, Center St., and 36th Street, the neighborhood was placed on the National Register of Historic Places as a historic district on November 15, 2000. Field Club is the location of dozens of historically significant homes in the Omaha area, including the Gerald R. Ford Birthsite and Gardens.

Pella Lutheran Church was located at 303 South 41st Street between Farnam and Harney Streets in midtown Omaha, Nebraska, between Nebraska Medical Center and Mutual of Omaha's Midtown Crossing. Pella was affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The church closed in 2014. It has been renovated and reopened as a wedding and event venue.

The West Farnam Apartments are located at 3817 Dewey Avenue in Midtown Omaha, Nebraska. The building was reportedly the first luxury apartment building constructed in Omaha.

The Bradford–Pettis House is a historic house located at 400 South 39th Street in Midtown Omaha, Nebraska. It was designated an Omaha Landmark on February 26, 1980, and added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 21, 1983.
