Troistorrents

The Val d'Illiez is a valley in the Canton of Valais, Switzerland. It separates the northern foothills of the Chablais Alps from the Dents du Midi. Starting from Monthey, the valley splits at Troistorrents: Val d'Illiez itself with the villages of Val-d'Illiez and Champéry Val de Morgins, between Troistorrents and Morgins

Val-d'Illiez is a municipality in the district of Monthey in the canton of Valais in Switzerland.

The Pointe de Bellevue (French pronunciation: [pwɛ̃t də bɛlvy]) is a mountain in the Chablais Alps, overlooking Monthey in Valais. It is located in the northern foothills, which are separated from the Dents du Midi by the Val d'Illiez and Pas de Morgins

Monthey railway station (French: Gare de Monthey, German: Bahnhof Monthey) is a railway station in the municipality of Monthey, in the Swiss canton of Valais. It is an intermediate stop on the Saint-Gingolph–Saint-Maurice line and is served by local trains only. Monthey is one of four stations located in the municipality; the other three are on the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) Aigle–Ollon–Monthey–Champéry line. The nearest of these is Monthey Ville, is 700 metres (2,300 ft) to the west.

Collombey-Muraz is a municipality in the district of Monthey in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. There was an oil refinery in the town.

Collombey railway station (French: Gare de Collombey, German: Bahnhof Collombey) is a railway station in the municipality of Collombey-Muraz, in the Swiss canton of Valais. It is an intermediate stop on the Saint-Gingolph–Saint-Maurice line and is served by local trains only. The tracks of the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) Aigle–Ollon–Monthey–Champéry line cross over the Saint-Gingolph–Saint-Maurice line north of the station. Two stations on the Aigle–Ollon–Monthey–Champéry line, Collombey-Muraz and Corbier, are each located about 230 metres (750 ft) from Collombey.

The Bec du Corbeau (1,992 m) is a mountain of the Chablais Alps, overlooking Morgins in the Swiss canton of Valais. It lies west of Pointe de Bellevue, on the watershed between the valleys of the Dranse d'Abondance and Illiez. The French border runs west of the mountain.

Champoussin is a village in the Swiss Alps, located in the canton of Valais. The village is situated in the western part of the canton, near Champéry, in the municipality of Val-d'Illiez. Champoussin lies at a height of 1,597 metres above sea level, on the eastern flanks of Pointe de l'Au. In winter it is part of the international ski area of Portes du Soleil.

Lac de Conche is a lake in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. It is located in the municipality of Collombey-Muraz, at an elevation of 1687 m, close to the French border.

Morgins is a village in the municipality of Troistorrents in the district of Monthey in the canton of Valais in southern Switzerland. It is noted for skiing and is part of the Portes du Soleil ski resort. It is located at 1333 m in the Val de Morgins, a side valley of the Val d'Illiez in the Chablais Alps at the foot of the Dents du Midi. The road up the Val de Morgins leads to the Pas de Morgins, the pass into France.
