Piastów railway station

Warszawa Ursus–Niedźwiadek railway station is a railway station in the Ursus district of Warsaw, Poland. The station is served by Koleje Mazowieckie, which runs trains from Skierniewice to Warszawa Wschodnia, and Szybka Kolej Miejska, which runs trains from Pruszków PKP to Otwock.

Piastów [ˈpʲastuf] is a town in central Poland, near Warsaw, with 23,331 inhabitants (2006 est). It is situated in the Masovian Voivodship (since 1999); previously, it was in Warszawa Voivodship (1975–1998). With 3963 persons/km², it is the second most densely populated township in Poland (after Świętochłowice). In the Middle Age, the villages of Żdżary and Utrata existed in the place of today's' Piastów. Piastów is served by Piastów railway station.

Niedźwiadek is a residential neighbourhood, and an area of the City Information System, in the city of Warsaw, Poland, located within the district of Ursus.The neighbourhood was built between 1968 and 1977, to provide housing to the employees of the nearby Ursus factory.

The neighbourhood of Gołąbki (pl) was nominally a village in the present-day Warsaw West County. It was incorporated into the town of Ursus in 1954, which became a district of Warsaw in 1977. Notable points of interest include the Church of St. John the Apostle and Evangelist pictured.

Ursus is a district (dzielnica) of Warsaw, one of the 18 such units into which the city is divided. Between 1952 and 1977 it was a separate city. Until 1954 it was known as Czechowice.
