Irumpanam

The Makaliyam Sreeramaswamy Temple is a famous temple of the Hindu Lord Sri Rama in Kochi, Kerala. The temple is located at Irumpanam along the Seaport-Airport Road. The temple is said to be built by the Chera Dynasty. Several years ago, it is believed that a major fire incident had happened in the temple in which almost all gopuras and many structures were severely damaged. This is the new temple constructed by devotees later on and is now owned by Cochin Devaswom Board. The temple is recently renovated again with copper plated roofs & Dasavathara framed walls in panchaloha. Lord Vinayaka and Lord Ayyappa are the subdeities (upa-devathas) in this temple. Lord Hanuman is also worshipped here without idol.

Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology (Autonomous) (RSET) is an educational institution located in Kochi, Kerala, India, offering engineering education and research. RSET is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).RSET is managed by the Sacred Heart Province of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) congregation. RSET is a part of the Rajagiri Vidyapeetham (transl. "seat of knowledge"). Thuthiyoor is a region near Kakkanad in the city of Kochi in Kerala, India. Thuthiyoor shares its boundaries with Chittethukara, Eroor, Kakkanad and Palachuvadu. The rear wall of Cochin Special Economic Zone forms the north-eastern boundary. It has a history of about 100 years, mainly associated with the local mosque Palachuvadu Juma Masjid and Sreekrishnaswamy Temple (only one Sreekrishna temple in Thrikkakara Panchayathu). There are other six temples in this village. Two Christian churches, three schools and two convents are situated in this village. Most of the people are god fearing and harmonious. Karingachira St. George's Jacobite Syrian Church of Jacobite Syrian Christian Church, established in 722 AD (Makaram 13), is one of the ancient churches of the Syriac Orthodox Church. St. Thomas, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ is the founder of the ancient church in India. Christian writers and historians from the 4th century refer to the evangelistic work of Apostle Thomas in India, and the Indian Christians ascribe the origin of their church to the labours of the apostle in the 1st century.The church is located near Hill Palace, Thripunitura, Kochi. The church is named after Saint George. The Katthanar (Vicar) of Karingachira was considered the representative of the Nasarani community of the erstwhile Cochin State. During athachamayam, the Katthanar representing the Nasranis, along with Nettur Thangal (representing the Muslims), and Chembil Valia Arayan (representing the fisher folk) accompanied the Maharaja of Cochin State.

Thrippunithura Terminal is a terminal metro station serving as the southern terminal of the Kochi Metro which was opened on 6 March 2024. It was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on 6 March 2024 and marked the completion of final station of the first phase of the Kochi metro system that starts from Aluva.

Hill Palace is an archaeological museum and palace located in the Thrippunithura neighbourhood of Kochi, Kerala. It is the largest archeological museum in the state and was the imperial administrative office and official residence of the Cochin Maharaja. Built in 1865, the palace complex consists of 49 buildings spreading across 54 acres (220,000 m2) and built in the traditional architectural style. The complex has an archaeological museum, a heritage museum, a deer park, a pre-historic park and a children's park.The campus section of the museum is home to several rare species of medicinal plants. Presently, the palace has been converted into a museum by The Kerala State Archaeology Department and is open to the public. The palace is about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from the city centre and is reachable by road and by rail. The Centre for Heritage Studies (CHS), an autonomous research and training institute set up by the Department of Cultural Affairs, of the Government of Kerala also functions at the site. The CHS is designated as the 'Manuscript Conservation Centre' (MCC) and 'Manuscript Resource Centre' (MRC) by the National Mission for Manuscripts.

Vadakkekotta metro station is a metro station of Kochi Metro in India. It was opened on 1 September 2022 as a part of the extension of the metro system from Petta to SN Junction. Spread over an area of 4.3 lakh square feet, it is Kochi Metro’s biggest station. The station features Kerala's role in freedom struggle as its theme.
