Whitmore Lake Secondary School is a public secondary school in Whitmore Lake, Michigan. It serves grades 7-12 and is part of Whitmore Lake Public Schools.

Barton Hills is a village in Washtenaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 316 at the 2020 census. The village is located within Ann Arbor Charter Township just northwest of the city of Ann Arbor. Originally established by Detroit Edison president Alex Dow on land acquired for the Barton Dam, Barton Hills was designed as an exclusive, forested residential enclave just outside Ann Arbor. In 1944, the community was sold to its residents, and a village was incorporated in 1973. The streets in the village were formerly owned by the Barton Hills Maintenance Corporation but were purchased by the village itself in 2010.

Northfield Township is a civil township of Washtenaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 8,514 at the 2020 census.

Groves Farm is a farmstead located at 6015 Sutton Road in Northfield Township, Michigan, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2023.

The Barton Dam is a hydroelectric barrage dam crossing the Huron River. It is located in the city of Ann Arbor in Washtenaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It began operating in 1912 and currently provides hydroelectricity to city of Ann Arbor, which owns and maintains the dam and power station.

The Nathan Esek and Sarah Emergene Sutton House is a single-family home located at 5145 Pontiac Trail in Northfield Township, Michigan, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2022.

Whitmore Lake Public Schools was established in the year 1944. The schools were located just outside downtown Whitmore Lake, Michigan. Originally, the High School, Middle School, and Elementary School were built on the same land. Due to a few different aspects, one of which being the growth in the population of students, the district had to rebuild the Elementary School in 1991 and later, the High School in 2006. Whitmore Lake Public Schools is currently a School of Choice, meaning that to attend school at Whitmore Lake, it is not necessary to live within the boundaries of Whitmore Lake Public School District. Most parents who can choose to send their children to better districts. Administration The Administrative offices are located at 8845 Main Street, Whitmore Lake.

Skyline High School is a public, magnet high school in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The school opened in Fall 2008 with the intention to relieve overcrowding of the two existing high schools, Huron High School and Pioneer High School.

The Delhi Bridge, also known as the East Delhi Bridge, is a one-lane, wrought iron Pratt through truss bridge that carries East Delhi Road over the Huron River in Washtenaw County, Michigan. The bridge was completed October 12, 1883 to replace a wooden span built in 1851. In 1917, the bridge was severely damaged by a tornado but was rebuilt. After it was closed to traffic in 2005 for being unsafe, the bridge was renovated and reopened in 2009. The bridge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Guy Beckley (1803–1847) was a Methodist Episcopal minister, abolitionist, Underground Railroad stationmaster, and lecturer. The Guy Beckley House is on the National Park Service Underground Railroad Network to Freedom and the Journey to Freedom tour. It stands next to Beckley Park, which was named after him.

Delhi Metropark is a park in the Huron-Clinton system of metro parks. It is an 81-acre (330,000 m2) park on the Huron River located five miles (8 km) northwest of Ann Arbor. It has picnic areas, two picnic shelters, swings and slides, river fishing, canoe rental and softball diamonds. A children's playground features an adventure playship, ride-on toys and swings. A Metropark daily or annual vehicle permit is required for entry to the park. The park will eventually be linked to Dexter-Huron Metropark and Hudson Mills Metropark via the Border-to-Border Trail.

Michigan Islamic Academy (MIA) is a Kindergarten through grade 12 Islamic private day school in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The school was opened in 1985.As of 2015 it had 213 students. 75 of them lived in Ann Arbor, 52 lived in Ypsilanti, 35 in Canton, 20 in the Dearborn area, four each in Jackson and Westland, three each in Dexter, Farmington, and South Lyon, two each in Plymouth and Superior Township (Washtenaw County), and one each in Brighton, Harper Woods, Northville, Saline, Southfield, and Whitmore.
