Orr Branch is a roughly 2-mile (3.22 km) creek in the White Rock/Trinity River watershed in eastern Texas. From its uppermost source near the intersection of Tibbs and West Ricks Circle streets, it runs northeast through a portion of suburban Dallas until it flows into White Rock Creek (of which it is a tributary) and ultimately feeds into White Rock Lake.

Yavneh Academy of Dallas (now Akiba Yavneh Academy) is a coeducational, college preparatory Jewish private school in Dallas, Texas. It is guided by the tenets of Modern Orthodox Judaism. In 2019, the school merged with Akiba Academy of Dallas (preschool through grade 8) to become Akiba Yavneh Academy (3 months through 12th Grade). With a student body of more than 400 students from 3 months of age through 12th Grade for the 2021-22 academic year, Akiba Yavneh Academy has dual curriculum of General and Judaic Studies.

Mesorah High School for Girls is a private Orthodox Jewish high school for girls in Dallas, Texas. Scheduled to open in August 2000 with grades 9 and 10, it was the first Jewish girls' high school in the city and the third all-girls' school in Dallas. It is the only Jewish girls' high school in the Southwestern United States. It initially had seven students. As of 2000 the school uniforms include ankle-length skirts and long-sleeved shirts. The school teaches Jewish religious subjects and secular subjects.

The Northaven Trail Bridge, or the Low Five, is an elevated pedestrian bridge located on the Northaven Trail in Dallas, Texas.

Watermark Community Church is a nondenominational evangelical megachurch based in Dallas, Texas. Watermark was founded in November 7, 1999 with an outward-focused ministry that sought to minister to "the unchurched, dechurched, dead-churched and unmoved." Watermark averages about 9,000 weekly attendants. The Porch is a weekly young adult service that attracts between 3,000 and 4,000 attendants each Tuesday night. Watermark is well known for its "Re:generation recovery" program. This is a 12-Step Christ-Centered recovery that is devoted to helping people find freedom from all struggles, including: anxiety/depression, pornography, fear, control, substance abuse, codependency, sexual abuse, same-sex attraction, eating disorders/body image, anger, obsessive thoughts, as well as any other struggle. In April of 2021 founder Todd Wagner stepped down as Senior Pastor of Watermark.

Forest Lane station is a DART Light Rail station in Dallas, Texas. It is located on Forest Lane, just east of US 75 (North Central Expressway) in North Dallas. It opened on July 1, 2002, replacing the North Central Transit Center, and is the third of four elevated stations on the Red Line, serving nearby residential and shopping areas in the neighborhoods of Lake Highlands and Hamilton Park.

The Covenant School is a K-12 classical Christian private school in Dallas, Texas. It was founded in 1993.In 2017 the school appointed Robert Littlejohn as head of school, starting with the 2018–2019 school year.

The High Five Interchange is one of the first five-level stack interchanges built in Dallas, Texas. Located at the junction of the Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway (Interstate 635, I-635) and the Central Expressway (US Highway 75, US 75), it replaces an antiquated combination interchange constructed in the 1960s. The $261 million project was started in 2002 and completed in December 2005. It was designed by the HNTB Corporation and built by Zachry Construction Corporation. The interchange is considered by Popular Mechanics to be one of "The World's 18 Strangest Roadways" because of its height (as high as a 12-story building), its 43 permanent bridges, and other unusual design and construction features. In 2006, the American Public Works Association named the High Five Interchange as "Public Works Projects of the Year".

The company's focus is on developing analog chips and embedded processors, which account for more than 80% of its revenue. TI also produces TI digital light processing technology and education technology products including calculators, microcontrollers, and multi-core processors. The company holds 45,000 patents worldwide as of 2016.Texas Instruments emerged in 1951 after a reorganization of Geophysical Service Incorporated, a company founded in 1930 that manufactured equipment for use in the seismic industry, as well as defense electronics. TI produced the world's first commercial silicon transistor in 1954, and the same year designed and manufactured the first transistor radio. Jack Kilby invented the integrated circuit in 1958 while working at TI's Central Research Labs. LBJ/Central station is a DART Light Rail station in Dallas, Texas. It is located at T.I. Boulevard and Markville Drive near the High Five Interchange in the Lake Highlands area. It opened July 1, 2002 and is a station on the Red Line and Orange Line, serving the headquarters of Texas Instruments and the nearby Dallas College Richland Campus. The Orange Line runs to Parker Road during rush hours. Other times, during off-peak (middays, late evenings and weekends), it terminates here instead. The columns supporting the station's roof have circuit boards embedded inside, owing to the area's prominence as a technology hub. The station is located across Interstate 635 from Texas Instruments.

Bakke Graduate University (BGU) is a Private online graduate school headquartered in Dallas, Texas. It has students, faculty, alumni, and courses in over 60 countries focused on urban studies, sustainable business, and Christian theology. The university is composed of three colleges: a college of Christian theology focusing on global Christian movements; a college of urban studies studying relief, development and advocacy in cities; a college of business, including a global MBA for sustainable business entrepreneurship.Typical students serve in business, government, NGO, or churches with roles as pastors, consultants, authors, urban ministers, professors or justice activists. Over 70% of BGU's faculty, students and alumni are located outside of North America with concentrations in Africa, Asia, Central America, the Caribbean, Europe, and South America.
