McIver railway station is a railway station on the Transperth network in Perth, Western Australia. It is located on the Armadale/Thornlie line, Midland line and Airport line, 0.9 kilometres from Perth station, providing access to Royal Perth Hospital.

The Court Hotel is a historic hotel in Perth, Western Australia, located at the corner of Beaufort Street and James Street. It was built in 1888 and has been continually used as a hotel since then. It has been a gay and lesbian venue since the early 1990s.

The Perth Trades Hall is a historic trades hall building in Perth, Western Australia that has been occupied by various organisations of the Western Australian trade union movement. The building is now the WA headquarters of the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU).

The Western Australian Museum is a statutory authority within the Culture and the Arts Portfolio, established under the Museum Act 1969. The museum has six main sites. The state museum, now known as WA Museum Boola Bardip, officially re-opened on 21 November 2020 in the Perth Cultural Centre. The other sites are: the WA Maritime Museum and WA Shipwrecks Museum in Fremantle, the Museum of the Great Southern in Albany, the Museum of Geraldton in Geraldton, and the Museum of the Goldfields in Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

The Jubilee Building is part of the Western Australian Museum in Perth, Western Australia. Designed in the Victorian Byzantine style by George Temple-Poole and supervised by his 1895 successor John Harry Grainger, it was opened in 1899. The building was originally planned as a combined library, museum and art gallery to be sited in St Georges Terrace to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee in 1887. However, by 1894, enthusiasm for the project had waned and the St Georges Terrace site had been abandoned. After several years, a site was selected near the corner of James Street and Beaufort Street to adjoin several other buildings including the old Perth Gaol which was being used for museum displays and storage. It was still termed the "Victoria Public Library" when it was being built in 1897. The Hackett Hall that housed the Public Library is immediately west of the building. Construction started in 1897. The museum moved into the basement prior to the building's completion in 1899. It has been included in the redevelopment of the Western Australian Museum, as part of the Perth Cultural Centre. The entire building has been refurbished, with the terrace and grand entrance reopened.

The Perth Gaol (often referred to as the Old Perth Gaol) was a gaol built in Perth, the state capital of Western Australia, between 1854 and 1856 to house convicts and other prisoners. It is located just west of Beaufort Street. It operated until March 1888 when the last prisoner was transferred to Fremantle Prison. The main gaol building, minus the yards, stands today adjacent to the Western Australian Museum in Perth.

Old Perth Fire Station (Fire Brigade No. 1 Station) is located at 25 Murray Street, at its intersection with Irwin Street, in Perth, Western Australia. It was the first purpose-built fire station in Western Australia. It was opened in 1901 and continued in operation until 1979. The building now houses the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) Education and Heritage Centre, a museum displaying historic documents and vintage vehicles from the emergency services' early days.

The Salvation Army Congress Hall is a heritage-listed building in Perth, Western Australia, built for and initially occupied by the Salvation Army. Located at 69 Murray Street, it was built in 1929–30 in the Inter-War Georgian architectural style. The foundation stone was laid on 3 August 1929 by the governor, Sir William Campion.The Salvation Army sold the property in 1991.

The 5th Military District was an administrative district of the Australian Army. Formed shortly after the Federation of Australia, the 5th Military District covered all of Western Australia except the Kimberley region, with its headquarters at Swan Barracks in Perth. Following the First World War, the area's designation was changed to the 5th District Base. In October 1939, it was re-designated as Western Command when the Army moved towards a geographic command structure. In April 1942, the Army was reorganised and Western Command became III Corps in April 1942. Western Command was re-formed in June 1944 when the need for a corps-level headquarters passed.Then-Captain William Henderson, later promoted to Major General, served on the command's staff soon after the Second World War ended. The 13th Infantry Brigade was re-raised in 1948, once again headquartered in Western Australia, and assigned to Western Command. Upon formation, it consisted of two infantry battalions: the 11th/44th and the 16th/28th. In 1960, when the CMF was reorganised following the adoption of the Pentropic divisional establishment, the brigade was disbanded. The geographical command structure was retained until the 1970s.

Swan Barracks was a military establishment in Francis Street, Perth, Western Australia. The heritage listed building is located between Museum and Beaufort Streets.

Phineas Seeligson's is a heritage-listed building in Perth, Western Australia. Located at 143 Barrack Street in the city's central business district, it has also been known as Toastface, and Atomic Sky as Studio StartUp.

Australia II (KA 6) is an Australian 12-metre-class America's Cup challenge racing yacht that was launched in 1982 and won the 1983 America's Cup for the Royal Perth Yacht Club. Skippered by John Bertrand, she was the first successful Cup challenger, ending a 132-year tenure (with 26 successful defences) by the New York Yacht Club.
