The Faculty of Law is a faculty of the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The first class of students matriculated in 1968, and the current building was opened in 1970. The Faculty has grown immensely over the past 50 years, increasing its national profile through its innovations in research and from thousands of alumni across Canada and the world. The 2017 endowment to the Faculty of Law was $10.2 million. The Faculty is also the current academic host institution of the Canadian Bar Review (CBR), the most frequently cited journal by the Supreme Court of Canada.The Faculty of Law embraces the principles of Access to Justice in all aspects of its operation, including its admissions policy, faculty hiring, faculty research and scholarship, and its curriculum. Transnational Legal issues, international trade and finance, and international law are other key area of research and teaching interest due to the Faculty's close proximity with Detroit and several universities in Michigan. Windsor Law is home to the Law, Technology and Entrepreneurship Clinic (LTEC), which is a clinical project conducted by several law professors who specialize in technology law. LTEC's goal is to provide upper year law students with a unique clinical legal education experience, and in turn support entrepreneurship and innovation in the Windsor-Essex region. LTEC provides community legal education workshops on aspects of business law and intellectual property law (patents, copyright and trademarks). In addition, LTEC provides legal services to eligible clients from across the Windsor-Essex area in matters pertaining to business law and/or intellectual property law. LTEC's success has grown immensely over the past years, and will continue to be a major academic and research focus for the Faculty into the future. Windsor Law publishes two journals: the Windsor Yearbook of Access to Justice and the student run law journal Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues. Students can take advantage of faculty expertise in Aboriginal Law, Commercial/Corporate Law, Evidence Law, Fiduciary Law, Freedom of Religion & Expression, Human Rights Law, Insurance Law, Intellectual Property Law, International Law, Labour Law, Poverty Law, Remedies, and Tax Law.

The Centre for Research in Reasoning, Argumentation, and Rhetoric (CRRAR) is an interdisciplinary research group within the University of Windsor, Canada, which supports research in the fields of argumentation, informal logic, and rhetoric. Notable members include the widely published argumentation theorist Douglas N. Walton, and early founders of the informal logic field Ralph Johnson and J. Anthony Blair. Members of the centre collaborate with local and international projects related to argumentation and informal logic, including the Ontario Society for the Study of Argumentation (OSSA), the International Society for the Study of Argumentation (ISSA), and the Association for Informal Logic and Critical Thinking (AILACT).

The Odette School of Business (OSB) is the business school of the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario. The school offers various programs with focus in Accounting, Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain and Business Analytics, Marketing, and Strategy and Entrepreneurship. Odette School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).Applicants do not need to have professional experience, but a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score of 550 is required.

CJAM-FM (99.1 MHz) is a Canadian campus radio station broadcasting at 99.1 FM from the University of Windsor campus in Windsor, Ontario. CJAM is an active member of the National Campus and Community Radio Association, and hosted the 2008 National Campus and Community Radio Conference.

Our Lady of the Assumption, currently located at 350 Huron Church Road in Windsor, Ontario, is a Roman Catholic church and is the oldest continuous parish in Canada, west of Montreal.The current church, which opened in 1845, is the fourth to be built on the site. The building closed in 2014 when it was determined the building needed approximately C$15 million in restoration work.After a fundraising campaign, construction began in early 2019 on the first phase of a four phase restoration plan and included the installation of a long-term copper roof, a new heating system, major electrical work, and structural repairs.The building reopened for regular weekend mass on September 8, 2019.The parish began the second phase of the restoration plan in 2020. The second phase includes restoration of the church's ceiling.

The Windsor Sculpture Park, formerly known as the Odette Sculpture Park, is an open space in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, that shows 35 large-scale contemporary sculptures by world-renowned artists including Elisabeth Frink, Gerald Gladstone, and Sorel Etrog. The park is located on the shore of the Detroit River, spanning from Assumption Park to Centennial Park, between the Ambassador Bridge (Huron Church Road) and the Art Gallery of Windsor (Church Street). The Sculpture Park was funded by Mr and Mrs Louis Odette and the P & L Odette Foundation. The park is maintained by the city's Parks and Recreation Department, while the sculptures are cared for by the Cultural Affairs Department. The City of Windsor provides free public guided tours of the five kilometre open air gallery. The tours are done in a vehicle called The Art Cart; an electric golf cart which can hold five people. Tours run on a first-come-first-served basis. Art Cart Tours depart from the base of the Great Canadian Flag at the foot of Ouellette Avenue. Fee-based tours require reservations. Fee-based tours are offered outside of public tour hours.

The North Wall, also known as the Canadian Vietnam Veterans Memorial, is a war memorial in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The monument was erected on July 2, 1995 in honour of the Canadian veterans who were killed in action, made prisoners of war, or declared missing in action during the Vietnam War.

The Roy A. Battagello River Walk Bike Trail is the current backbone of the "Windsor Loop" bike trail network in Windsor, Ontario. The bike trail travels from the foot of the Ambassador Bridge (at Peter Street and Huron Church Road), to traffic lights at Riverside Drive and Lincoln Avenue (continuing as bike lanes to George Avenue and Wyandotte Street, for a total distance of 8.0 km (5.0 mi)). This makes the trail the second-longest trail in the City of Windsor (the longest being the mostly-unpaved West Windsor Recreationway), at 8.0 km. The trail travels through Windsor's downtown, and many of its parks, such as Dieppe Gardens. Many cities across North America (such as Detroit, Michigan, Toledo, Ohio, Toronto, Ontario, New York City, New York, and San Francisco, California) have expressed interest in similar riverfront parkland and bike trails, and many (such as Detroit) have already started construction on their own parks and trails. Throughout its history, the trail was repeatedly widened and upgraded, and even is paved with the original asphalt and cement used on the Ambassador Bridge. The trail has a posted speed limit of 20 km/h.

St. Michael's Alternative High School is a private Catholic high school located in Windsor, Ontario. St. Michaels is administered by the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board. In addition to the Windsor location, St. Michael's has additional locations in Essex, Ontario and a second location in Windsor for adult learning.

University of Windsor Stadium, also known as Alumni Field, South Campus Stadium and St. Denis Centre Stadium, is a 2,000-seat stadium located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The stadium is mainly used for soccer and Canadian football. It is home to the Windsor Lancers, the athletic teams of the University of Windsor. The stadium was built in conjunction with the City of Windsor to host the 2005 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships. The total project cost $8.6 million and was built by Eastern Construction and designed by JP Thomson Associates Ltd. The stadium opened in June 2005.The stadium is next to the St. Denis Athletic Centre.A FieldTurf playing surface was added to the stadium after a fundraising initiative, including a large donation of $500,000 from the University of Windsor Alumni Association. At the time, this donation was the largest gift ever in the organization's history.The 2007 Canadian Soccer League (CSL) All-star game was held at University of Windsor Stadium.It was host to the 2007 Canadian Track and Field Championships and the 2008 Canadian Track and Field Trials.

John L. Forster Secondary School, often referred to as J.L. Forster or Forster, was a high school in the west end of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1922 as General Byng Elementary School, it was later repurposed as a secondary school; it also underwent two name changes, eventually being named after its first principal. It was located within the authority of the Greater Essex County District School Board (GECDSB) and was assessed at 2.1 out of 10 in academic performance by the Fraser Institute.

The Ambassador Bridge is a tolled international suspension bridge across the Detroit River that connects Detroit, Michigan, United States, with Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Opened in 1929, it is the busiest international border crossing in North America in terms of trade volume, carrying more than 25% of all merchandise trade between the United States and Canada by value. A 2004 Border Transportation Partnership study showed that 150,000 jobs in the Detroit–Windsor region and US$13 billion in annual production depend on the Detroit–Windsor international border crossing.The bridge is one of the few privately owned US–Canada crossings; it was owned by Grosse Pointe billionaire Manuel Moroun, until his death in July 2020, through the Detroit International Bridge Company in the United States and the Canadian Transit Company in Canada. In 1979, when the previous owners put it on the New York Stock Exchange and shares were traded, Moroun was able to buy shares, eventually acquiring the bridge. The bridge carries 60 to 70 percent of commercial truck traffic in the region. Moroun also owned the Ammex Detroit duty free stores at both the bridge and the tunnel.
