The St. John's A.F. & A.M. Lodge, also known as Tyler Masonic Lodge, refers to a Masonic Lodge in Tyler, Texas and also to its historic building, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building, located on Front Street in Tyler, Texas, was built in 1902 by St. John's Lodge #53, a local Masonic lodge (the lodge still meets in the building).The building was designed in Colonial Revival architecture by architect Shirley Simons. It was listed on the National Register in 2005. The listing included one contributing building and one contributing structure.

Marvin Methodist Episcopal Church, South (also called Marvin United Methodist Church and Marvin Church) is a historic church at 300 W. Erwin Street in Tyler, Texas. It was built in 1890 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

The Tyler City Hall at 212 N. Bonner Ave. in Tyler, Texas was built in 1938. It was designed by architect T. Shirley Simons, Sr. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. The listing included one contributing building and one contributing site on 1.3 acres (0.53 ha).Construction of the building was financed by Depression-era PWA and/or WPA programs. Simons had been hired in 1936 by the City of Tyler "to provide architectural services for publics works projects." Other similar works by Simon were the Mother Frances Hospital and the new Tyler U.S. Post Office and Courthouse.: 92  It has been termed "a good local rendering of Art Deco styling".: 209 

The Smith County Historical Society, housed in the Carnegie Library, is located at 125 S. College Street in the city of Tyler, Smith County, Texas, U.S. It was built in 1904 as the Carnegie Public Library, and added to the National Register of Historic Places listings in Smith County, Texas in 1979. When Tyler built a new public library, the Carnegie building was leased to the Smith County Historical Society and continues to operate as a museum and archives.

The Ramey House, sometimes also called the Ramey–Grainger house, is a privately owned, early 20th-century Colonial Revival home and historic landmark located at 605 South Broadway Avenue in Tyler, Texas, occupying the southwest corner of Broadway Avenue and Houston Street. It was built in 1903 by its namesake, Thomas Brown Ramey, who was a Tyler businessman and jeweler. Ramey and his wife, Mary Josephine Ramey (née Spencer), were well known locally for their civic engagement and public commitments.The 118-year-old structure is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is designated as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark by the Texas Historical Commission. The property itself is part of the Brick Streets Neighborhood Historic District and has, since 2004, been recognized as a contributing property there. The historical significance of the Ramey House is primarily architectural in nature. The interior of the house was extensively renovated in 1935 under the purview of prominent Texas architect Shirley Simons (1897–1963). The Ramey House was converted into law offices in the early 1980s, during which time its exterior underwent a restoration process from 1980 to 1981. It was subsequently also known as Grainger and Petterson Law Offices, though it is no longer used as a law firm. In 1982, the house gained official status as a historic landmark when it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The listing included one contributing building and one contributing site.Today, the Ramey House functions as the headquarters of Stonewater Roofing, which completed another restoration of the house in 2021 after it had fallen into moderate disrepair over several years. Like earlier renovations and restorations of the house, the 2021 restoration honors and preserves the historic integrity of the structure.

The Jenkins-Harvey Super Service Station and Garage, at 124 S. College in Tyler, Texas, was built in 1929. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.It was designed by James P. Baugh in Art Deco style and is a landmark in Tyler.

The William M. Steger Federal Building and United States Courthouse is a historic government building built in Tyler, Texas. It was built during 1933–1934 in a restrained Classical Revival style. It served historically as a courthouse, post office, and a government office building. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001 as the Tyler US Post Office and Courthouse.It was designed by local architect Shirley Simons with supervision by the Office of the Supervising Architect under James A. Wetmore. Its materials include a dark gray mottled granite on the ground floor, light buff limestone cladding the first floor, salmon-colored brick on the second and third floors. Acroterions appear at each corner of a parapet.

People's National Bank Building is a high-rise building in Courthouse Square, Tyler, Texas, at 102 N. College Street. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Art Deco building was designed by noted Texas architect Alfred C. Finn, who touted an extensive portfolio of steel-framed skyscrapers when the People's National Bank Building was completed in 1932. Since 2014 it has been known as the People's Petroleum Building.
