Richfield Tower, also known as the Richfield Oil Company Building, was constructed between 1928 and 1929 and served as the headquarters of Richfield Oil in Los Angeles, California.

The ARCO Center for Visual Art was a not-for-profit gallery, funded by the Atlantic Richfield Company in Los Angeles California. It opened in 1976 and closed in 1984. Engine Company No. 28 is a former Los Angeles Fire Department fire station on Figueroa Street in Downtown Los Angeles. Built in 1912 at a cost of US$50,000, the structure served as an operating fire station until it was closed in 1967. One of the first reinforced concrete fire stations in the city, it is a Class A fire-proof structure built of brick, hollow tile and concrete. In 1979, the building was listed in the National Register of Historic Places. In the late 1980s, it was renovated as a restaurant, "Engine Company No. 28.", that served food based on recipes from American fire houses. The building was featured as an operating fire station in Los Angeles in the 2011 video game L.A. Noire. Since 2007, the building has housed the law firm Geragos & Geragos, and is owned by Mark Geragos.

The First Interstate Tower fire was a high-rise fire that occurred on May 4, 1988, at the First Interstate Tower (now Aon Center) in Los Angeles, California, a 62-story, 860 foot (260 m) skyscraper, then the tallest building in the city. The fire destroyed five floors of the building, injured 40 people, and caused the death of a maintenance worker, when the elevator he was riding opened onto the burning 12th floor.

Union Bank Plaza is a 40-story, 157 m (515 ft) office skyscraper located on South Figueroa Street in Downtown Los Angeles, California. Construction of the building began in 1965 and was completed in 1968. It is currently the 22nd tallest building in Los Angeles. It was the first skyscraper to be built as part of the Bunker Hill Redevelopment Project. It was built in the International style, a popular way of designing buildings at the time. The complex was named a Los Angeles historic cultural monument in 2020. The building uses induction units for HVAC.
