Gropenbornskopf

The Aschentalshalbe is a ridge in the Harz Mountains of Germany that is up to 685 m above sea level (NN). It lies south of the village of Sieber in the unincorporated area of Harz in the district of Göttingen in the state of Lower Saxony.

Große Kulmke is a river of Lower Saxony, Germany. The Große Kulmke is a tributary of the Sieber in central Germany. It rises near the natural monument of Mönchskappenklippe near the ridge of Auf dem Acker, north-northeast of Sieber in the district of Göttingen in Lower Saxony. It then flows mainly in a southerly direction, separated from the Sieber by the Königsberg. After 5 km (3.1 mi) it merges with the Kleine Kulmke at an elevation of 392 m (1,286 ft). The valley of the Große Kulmke is part of the Sieber Valley (Siebertal) nature reserve.

The Übelsberg is a 651.3 metre high mountain in the South Harz, which lies southwest of Sieber in the district of Göttingen in Lower Saxony. It sits astride the watershed between the Grade Lutter and the Krumme Lutter rivers. The mountain is linked via a ridge to the Aschentalshalbe in the north and the Mittelberg in the south.

Gropenborn is a river of Lower Saxony, Germany. It rises to over 560 meters above sea level and flows mostly to the northwest, where it is separated by the Gropenbornskopf from the Sieber. After about 2 km (1.2 mi) it discharges an altitude of less than 340 m northeast of the village Sieber in the district of Göttingen into the Sieber. The dominant organism group are caddisflies with 12 species.

The Schadenbeeksköpfe are two summits on a southeastern outlier of the Aschentalshalbe in the Harz Mountains of Germany, about 3.6 kilometres southeast of Sieber in the district of Göttingen in Lower Saxony. Their highest peak is 605 metres above sea level. In addition they separate the Schadenbeek stream, after which they were named, from the upper Krumme Lutter. About 1 kilometre east of the Schadenbeeksköpfe lies the Wolkenhügel Pit (Grube Wolkenhügel), in the valley of the Krumme Lutter, which closed in June 2007. A refuge hut not far from the Schadenbeeksköpfe is a checkpoint (no. 153) in the Harzer Wandernadel hiking badge system.

The Breitentalskopf is a hill in the Harz Mountains of central Germany, that rises southeast of Sieber in the district of Göttingen in Lower Saxony. It is 579.1 m high and separates the River Sieber from the Breitental valley (with its stream, the Tiefenbeek), that gave the hill its name. Towards the southeast is the ridge of the Aschentalshalbe.

Kleine Kulmke is river of Lower Saxony, Germany, in the Harz Mountains, a tributary of the Große Kulmke. The Kleine Kulmke rises at a height of 690 m near the Schmierplatz on the Auf dem Acker ridge north-northeast of Sieber in the district of Göttingen and flows initially southwards to its confluence with the Verlorene Kulmke ("Lost Kulmke", 428 m), from which it is separated by the Kleiner Wurzelnberg hill. It then flows in a southwest to south-southwest direction before uniting with the Große Kulmke ("Big Kulmke") after 3.4 km (2.1 mi) at a height of 392 m. The valley of the Kleine Kulmke partly belongs to the Sieber Valley (Siebertal) nature reserve.

The Goldenke is a river of Lower Saxony, Germany. It is a 4 km (2.5 mi) long tributary of the Sieber, north of the village of Sieber in the district of Göttingen. It rises at a height of 800 metres in the vicinity of the Hanskühnenburg on the ridge of Auf dem Acker, by the Goldenkerklippe crags. It then flows mainly in a southerly direction and empties into the River Sieber in the village of the same name.

Verlorene Kulmke is a small river of Lower Saxony, Germany. It flows into the Kleine Kulmke west of Sankt Andreasberg.

Schwarze Kulmke is a small river of Lower Saxony, Germany. It flows into the Verlorene Kulmke near Herzberg am Harz.

The Koboltstaler Köpfe ("Kobolt Valley Peaks") are a group of three mountains, that rise southwest of Sankt Andreasberg and east of Sieber in the district of Göttingen in Lower Saxony. The highest of the three peaks is 673 metres high. The other two summits lie roughly 350 metres east and south of the main peak respectively and are ony a few metres lower. The Koboltstaler Köpfe are mainly covered by pine forest and accessible on all sides by forest roads. To the southwest runs a mountain ridge, the Gödeckenkopf or Gödeckekopf, whose crest lies between 600 and 650 metres high. It is bounded to the west by the Mittleren Gödeckental and to the east by the Kleinen Gödeckental. To the southwest it falls away steeply towards the Großes Gödeckental valley.

The Sieberstollen is an adit (German: Wasserlösungsstollen) for water drainage in Sankt Andreasberg, in the Harz mountains. It was created during mining in the Upper Harz and named after the river Sieber into which it discharges its water. The opening position is in the Sieber Valley.The first 11.7 km of the 13.1 km adit forms part of the Upper Harz Water Regale and has been declared UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010.
