Manville is a village in the town of Lincoln in Providence County, Rhode Island, United States. It is located at latitude 41.9616° North, longitude 71.4744° West. It has been assigned the ZIP Code 02838. It is a mill village that lies along the Blackstone River. Northern Lincoln Elementary School is located in Manville. The village is known for the former Manville-Jenckes Mills that burned down on September 12, 1955. The mill was a popular place to work in the village. Several row houses were constructed by mill owners to house their workers in the early 1900s. These rowhouses are known the residents of Manville as "the Brick Blocks", as well as the "Murnighan Mile". The village sports several businesses, including the Harmony Cafe, Early Birds Diner, Manville Palace Pizza, Chennai Tiffins Indian Restaurant, Manville Market (now the Joint on the Corner), Ernie's Auto Repair, One Stop Liquors, The Enrico Caruso Club, 4th Generation Salon,The Table Tennis Association of RI, The Coffee Cubby, and a Navigant Credit Union branch.

The Burlingame–Noon House is a historic house built around 1800 in Cumberland, Rhode Island. The structure was originally a simple, one-and-one-half-story, five-room-plan, centre-chimney Federal style cottage, constructed in the first decades of the 19th century. In the middle of the century, it was enlarged into a two-and-one half-story, flank-gable Greek Revival house. It has panelled corner pilasters and a trabeated central entrance with sidelights and pilasters in a five-bay facade. The house has had few changes since the mid-nineteenth century and is notable for its architecture, including original Federal-period interior trim, which reflects transformations and adaptation in Cumberland's early history.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

The Smithfield Road Historic District is a rural historic district in North Smithfield, Rhode Island, along Old Smithfield Road (Rhode Island Route 146A). It extends along Old Smithfield Road north from its junction with Sayles Hill Road, and is roughly bisected by Spring Brook. It includes eight historic houses or farmsteads, two 19th-century cemeteries, and a dam (whose construction date is unknown) on Spring Brook just east of the road. The district encompasses a cross-section of the development of agricultural properties in North Smithfield over the 19th century, with properties dating from 1811 (1034 Old Smithfield Road) to 1932 (1172 Old Smithfield Road). The district covers 170 acres (69 ha), which includes lands currently and formerly in agricultural use.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The Ballou House is an historic house on Albion Road in Lincoln, Rhode Island, USA. It is a 2½ story wood-frame structure, five bays wide, with a large central chimney. A single-story gable-roof wing (estimated to be 19th century in origin) extends to the east, and a 20th-century gambrel-roofed ell extends to the north. The house was probably built c. 1782 by Moses Ballou, from one of the first families to settle in the area, and was owned by his descendants through most of the 19th century.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 30, 1984.

Albion is a village and historic district in Lincoln, Rhode Island, in the United States. Albion is home to several mill buildings, churches, and the Kirkbrae Country Club golf course. The historic Blackstone River flows through the center of the mill village with the Blackstone River Greenway, a dual use bicycle & pedestrian path running along the river. Albion Falls is a waterfall along the Blackstone River, and the Albion Bridge crosses the river just downstream from Albion Dam, built in 1916 to power the Albion Mill, now a condominium complex. The word "Albion", from which the mill and village take their name, is the oldest name for Great Britain. The still-active Providence and Worcester Railroad passes through Albion.

The Luke Jillson House, also known as the Fisk House, is a historic house in Cumberland, Rhode Island. The wood-frame house is an excellent local example of Georgian style. Although a common date given for its construction is 1752, it was more likely built c. 1776 or in 1792, based on stylistic evidence.The house is two and one-half stories tall with a flank gable roof and two interior brick chimneys, reflecting a central hall plan. The entrance, centered in a five-bay facade, has fluted pilasters supporting a cushion frieze surmounted by a modillion-trimmed cornice and pediment. A four-story, square, Italianate tower, constructed in the 19th century and connecting to a long, one-story addition, is attached to the rear elevation.The dwelling is noted primarily for its architecture, which attests to the reputed affluence and prominence of Luke Jillson, about whom little is known. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Lewis Tower House is an historic house in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Built c. 1825, it is a Federal style house that is two-and-one-half-stories with a flank gable roof and an L-plan. The house is set into a small hill and has a one-and-one half-story, gabled ell at the rear. An original, two-story, hip-roof veranda extends across the front; its second story level continues along the side and ell. The veranda roof slope is integral with those of the main house and ell. There is a central entrance on each story in the five-bay facade beneath the veranda; the second-story entrance has sidelights and decorative trim. The house was probably standing when Lewis Tower purchased a 19-acre farmstead here from Philip Thomas in 1833.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Tyler Mowry House is a historic house in North Smithfield, Rhode Island. It is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, five bays wide, with a gable roof and two interior chimneys. The entry is centered on the main (south-facing) facade, with sidelight windows and pilasters supporting a complex entablature and cornice. A 1+1⁄2-story ell extends to the east. The house's interior has retained much of the original Federal-period woodwork, plasterwork, doors, and hardware. The house is distinctive as a remarkably unaltered house from the early 19th century, lacking modernizing alterations such as electricity and plumbing.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.
