Scott is a town in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,804 at the 2000 census. The unincorporated communities of Batavia, Beechwood, and Cranberry Marsh are located within the town. It is included in the Sheboygan, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area.

St. Matthias Mission is a historic rural Catholic mission church located near New Fane, Wisconsin. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. In the 1850s a cluster of immigrants from Bengel in the Rhineland settled around what is now called New Fane, engaging in farming. In 1861, 24 of these German-Catholic families built the nave of St. Matthias, of logs. At the consecration in 1863 the collection totaled 98 cents. For the first ten years St. Matthias was served by Rev. John (Johann Baptist) Reindl (1827–1891) of Immaculate Conception in West Bend. Some time before 1888 the log walls were covered with milled weatherboard. In 1888 the tower was added, with a frame of vertical posts and cross-timbers connected by mortise and tenon. Like the main church body, it is sheathed in weatherboard. In the tower hangs an 1883 bell and on top stands a cross. The church is currently taken care of by a private foundation. The interior of the church has been fully restored to its original condition and configuration. The church has regular late Sunday masses in the summer and a regular first Saturday mass every monthly. The local pastor from Holy Trinity Parish in Kewaskum, WI serves St. Matthias, as in the past.

The Kettle Moraine State Forest is a state forest in southeastern Wisconsin. The chief feature of the reserve is the Kettle Moraine, a highly glaciated area. The area contains very hilly terrain and glacial landforms, such as kettles, kames and eskers. The 56,000-acre (23,000 ha) forest is divided into two large and three small units, which are spread across a hundred miles. The forest includes 250 miles (400 km) of hiking trails, almost 100 miles (160 km) of cross-country ski trails, 130 miles (210 km) of equestrian trails, 150 miles (240 km) of snowmobile trails, 75 miles (121 km) of off-road bicycle trails including 30 miles (48 km) of singletrack trail, and 750 campsites. All units include a portion of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail and most units have horse/snowmobile trails. Several areas of trail loops for hiking, biking and skiing can be found in the northern and southern units. The Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive is a 115-mile (185 km) scenic route that winds across southeastern Wisconsin, and through all five forest units.

New Fane is an unincorporated community in the Town of Auburn in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, United States. The community is located in the heart of the northern unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. The community is located on County Road S and DD.

Parnell is an unincorporated community located in the town of Mitchell, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States. Parnell is located at the junction of County Highways A and V 4.7 miles (7.6 km) west of Cascade.

Mitchell is a town in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,132 at the 2000 census. It is included in the Sheboygan, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area. The unincorporated community of Parnell is located in the town.

St. John of God Roman Catholic Church, Convent, and School is a historic church near the unincorporated community of Boltonville in the Town of Farmington, Wisconsin. The church was built from Cream City brick in 1891, although the congregation has existed since the 1850s. The Town of Farmington was historically a German community, but the St. John of God congregation was organized by Irish immigrants who settled in the Boltonville area and elected not to join one of the town's German-speaking Catholic churches. In 1860, they constructed a church building which no longer exists and was replaced by the 1891 structure. In 1868, the Sisters of St. Agnes, a Catholic order founded in the Village of Barton, Wisconsin, built a school and a convent on the church property. The nuns served as public school teachers until at least 1892, and also taught parochial classes in the convent until 1879. Both buildings were abandoned around the turn of the century and were stripped for materials in the 1930s. Only the buildings' fieldstone-and-mortar walls remain. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
