Manila South Cemetery

South Avenue is a short extension of Ayala Avenue north of Metropolitan Avenue in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. It forms the border between the Manila South Cemetery to the east and Barangay Santa Cruz to the west, running for 805 meters (2,641 ft) in a southwest–northeast direction from its southern terminus at Metropolitan Avenue to its intersection with J.P. Rizal Avenue in Barangay Olympia. Since 2017, it carries one-way northbound traffic, implemented as an effort to decongest traffic in and out of the Makati Central Business District. It has a short extension into Barangay Olympia and Circuit Makati (formerly the Santa Ana Race Track) as Taliba Street. It is also the location of the Ecoville Townhouses and F. Benitez Elementary School. The avenue originated from an old road linking J.P. Rizal, Makati's main road, to the Manila South Cemetery and eventually to McKinley–Pasay Road near the Nielson Field (now occupied by the Makati Central Business District). The origin of the name of the avenue is unclear, but it may be derived from the cemetery through which it passes.

It has a short extension into Rizal Village, named as Antipolo Street. The street is notable for its art galleries, interior design showrooms, and fine dining restaurants.Nicanor Garcia forms the border between Bel-Air Village and the under-construction Makati Columbarium, which sits on the former Makati Catholic Cemetery, in barangay Valenzuela and between barangays Valenzuela and Poblacion. It was originally called Calle Reposo (Spanish for rest or repose), and was also called Calle Plesantero (pleasant place) by earlier residents. Its origin traces back to an access road connecting the Makati Catholic Cemetery to the rest of Makati. In the 1990s, the road was renamed to Nicanor Garcia Street, after Nicanor F. Garcia, the first elected municipal mayor of Makati who served from 1922 to 1934.An artists' association called "Grupo Reposo" composed of the street's gallery and store owners holds an annual street art and culture festival on Nicanor Garcia Street. It is dedicated to St. Andrew the Apostle, the patron saint of Metro Manila and Bel-Air Village. Its parish territories are Bel-Air Village and Salcedo Village in Barangay Bel-Air, Rizal Village and Santiago Village in Barangay Valenzuela, and San Miguel Village in Barangay Poblacion.

The Grand Soho Makati is a skyscraper for residential uses completed June 2010 in Makati, Philippines. It is estimated to rise 41 floors above ground. The construction of Grand Soho Makati (GSM), the residential condominium of top real estate developer Century Properties in prime Salcedo Village, has reached full completion in June. Positioned as the first fully fitted and fully furnished condominium in the country with three interior design options, GSM is now undergoing going project turnover and has reached a total of 210 accepted units aproject as of July 30. Forty-six percent, or 168 out of a total of 360 residential unit owners, have moved into the building while the remaining 192 are still going through the turnover process. An additional six units are allocated for commercial spaces at the ground floor. The 41-storey residential building comes with high-speed elevators, a Travertine stone-clad lobby, and concierge services.

RCBC Plaza is an office skyscraper complex located in Makati, Philippines. It is home to the offices of the Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) and is composed of two buildings: the taller RCBC Plaza Yuchengco Tower (Tower 1) and the smaller RCBC Plaza Tower 2. The taller tower stands at 192 meters (630 ft) from the ground to its architectural top, and is currently the 8th-tallest complete building in Makati, and is the 16th-tallest building in the Philippines, while the shorter tower stands at 170 meters (560 ft). At the time of its completion, the complex, as a whole, was considered by its developers to be the largest and most modern office development in the country.

Standing at 217 meters (712 ft), it is currently the 10th-tallest building in the country and Metro Manila as well. The building has 47 floors above ground, and 5 basement levels for parking.On 29 January 2019, French urban climber Alain Robert climbed the building and was arrested upon finishing his descent.

The LKG Tower is an office skyscraper located in Makati, Philippines, and is one of the tallest in the city. Standing at 180.1 metres (590.88 feet), the building has 38 floors above ground, and 5 basement levels for parking. The LKG Tower is owned by International Copra Export Corporation (ICEC) Land Corporation, and was designed by architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, in cooperation with local firm Recio + Casas Architects. It has a distinctive shape in its upper part, and this was emphasized by the presence of its "ribbon" design that cuts diagonally through its facade.

The Salcedo Park Condominium are high-end residential condominium skyscrapers located in Makati, Philippines. The twin 45-storey buildings were completed in 2001 and rises to 151 metres (495 feet) from the ground to its architectural top. It was the tallest residential twin towers from 1996 until the completion of Pacific Plaza Towers in 2001.

Jaime C. Velasquez Park, commonly referred to as Salcedo Park, is a pocket park in Makati, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is one of four pockets of greenery located in the central business district within Salcedo Village in barangay Bel-Air. The park is the site of a popular weekend market called the Salcedo Community Market. It is also the main venue of the bi-annual contemporary art fair called Art in the Park.
