Confederation Building (Montreal)

The Ring (French: L’Anneau) is a sculpture located at the Place Ville Marie in Montréal, Canada, designed by Claude Cormier + associes and erected in June 2022. The sculpture weighs around 23,000 kilograms (51,000 lb), spans 30 metres (98 ft) and cost over CA$5,000,000 of taxpayer and private money. The sculpture is heated to prevent snow buildup, and has vibration dampers to prevent damage during high winds and earthquakes.

The Crystal Palace was an exhibition hall built for the Montreal Industrial Exhibition of 1860, originally located at the foot of Victoria Street (one block west of University) between Sainte-Catherine and Cathcart Streets, then relocated to Fletcher's Field. It was used for temporary exhibitions, and in winter, housed an ice skating rink.

Its indoor water fountain has the highest water spout in North America at 30 metres in height. Place Montreal Trust is linked to the Underground City of Montreal. The Bell Media Tower is part of the Place Montreal Trust complex.

Le 1501 McGill College, also known as La Tour McGill, is a 158 m (518 ft), 36-storey skyscraper in Downtown Montreal. Named for its address at 1501 McGill College Avenue, it was completed in 1992 at the same time as the city's two tallest buildings, 1000 de La Gauchetière and 1250 René-Lévesque. It is connected to the McGill Metro station via the Underground City.

800 Saint-Jacques Street West (French: 800, rue Saint-Jacques Ouest) is an office building under construction in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The building is situated facing Boul Robert Bourassa in the Quartier de l’innovation of Downtown Montreal, and is linked to Montreal's Underground City. When completed in 2022, the National Bank of Canada will be the sole occupant of the building. The building will be tied with neighbouring Victoria sur le Parc to become the third tallest buildings in Montreal.

McGill College Avenue (officially in French: avenue McGill College) is a street in downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Named for McGill University, the street was widened in the 1980s and transformed into a scenic avenue with McGill's Roddick Gates on Sherbrooke Street at its north end and the Place Ville Marie plaza at its south end.

The Eaton's Ninth Floor Restaurant (known as "The Ninth Floor" or "Le 9e") is an endangered Art deco landmark in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It ceased operation in 1999 after 68 years, and not been open to the public since. This restaurant is a registered historical site.

Robert Bourassa Boulevard (French: boulevard Robert-Bourassa), previously University Street (French: rue University), is a major north-south artery in downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The street runs 2.1 km (1.3 mi), from the foot of Quebec Autoroute 10 to the former Royal Victoria Hospital. The portion named Robert Bourassa Boulevard extends from the terminus of Autoroute 10 in the south to Sherbrooke Street in the north. It runs for 1.2 km (0.75 mi). The portion named University Street extends from Sherbrooke Street in the south to Pine Avenue in the north. It runs for 0.9 km (0.56 mi).

The Sun Life Building (French: Édifice Sun Life) is a historic 122-metre (400 ft), 24-storey office building at 1155 Metcalfe Street on Dorchester Square in the city's downtown core of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The building was completed in 1931 after three stages of construction. It was built exclusively for the Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada. Although the then-new head office of the Royal Bank of Canada at 360 Saint Jacques Street in Montreal was taller by several floors, the Sun Life Building was at the time the largest building in square footage anywhere in the British Empire. The Sun Life Building went through three different stages of construction, the first one starting as early as 1913, but it was not until 1931 that its main 24-storey tower was erected, thus completing the project.
