The Statue of André Bessette (French: Monument au Frère André) is an outdoor bronze sculpture in Place du frère Andre, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The monument is of André Bessette, more commonly known as Brother André (French: Frère André), and since his canonization as Saint André. The statue was created by Canadian sculptor Émile Brunet. It was inaugurated on November 2, 1986, in the presence of Mayor Jean Drapeau.

The Blue Bird Café fire was a nightclub fire on September 1, 1972, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. In all, 37 people were killed as a result of arson.The fire was the worst in Montreal since 1927, when 77 people perished in the Laurier Palace Theatre Fire. It is also the worst and only nightclub fire casualty in Canadian history.

The Bell Telephone Building (French: Édifice Bell) is a neoclassical office building in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was constructed with a steel frame between 1927 and 1929. It has 22 floors and is 96 m (315 ft) tall. It once contained the head office for the Bell Telephone Company. The Bell Telephone Building has 237,782 sq ft (22,090.7 m2) of class B office space. It was renovated in 1980.

The Telus Tower is an office building at 630 René Lévesque Boulevard West in Montreal. It was built for Canadian Industries Limited from 1960 to 1962, given the name CIL House. Designed by architect Gordon Bunshaft from the architectural firm Skidmore, Owings and Merrill with local architects Greenspoon, Freedlander and Dunne, it stands 135.6 m (445 ft) and 34 storeys tall. In 1960, Bunshaft had recently completed his seminal work, Lever House in New York City. During the 1960s when Montreal's financial district shifted from its St. James Street center to midtown, The CIL House also became the annex headquarters of the Bank of Montreal when it added a main banking branch there. Then-named Dorchester Boulevard West became the financial center of Montreal and Canada with the largest Canadian banks and insurance companies having a presence. In later years, CIL moved its head office operations to Ontario. The Royal Trust later received naming rights to the building when it located its head office there until the merger with the Royal Bank of Canada. The name Royal Trust Tower now refers to another building in Toronto. Today, it is home to the Montreal operations of Telus, the head office of Telus Health Solutions, but also houses the local offices of NEUF architect(e)s, Accenture, Roche, Canada Life, Clyde & Co, Fairstone Financial, Inc., as well as a Bank of Montreal , branch.

Tom Condos is a skyscraper in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The tower is located on Union Avenue between René-Lévesque Boulevard and Cathcart Street, near the Altitude Montreal tower and the Place Ville Marie. Part of the building occupies the site of 1972's Blue Bird Café fire. The tower has 40 floors and 122 m (400 ft) tall, and consists of 322 condos. The architect is Karl Fischer. The project's promoter is Daniel Revah.Construction started in June 2014, with a completion date sometime in 2018.

The Terminal Tower (also known as Le 800 René Lévesque) is a skyscraper in downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is 30 storeys, and 125 metres (410 ft) tall. Completed in 1966, it was the last phase of CN's developments in the area, along with the Queen Elizabeth Hotel, Central Station and the CN Building. It was built in the international-style architecture, with a concrete and glass facade. The Terminal Tower is located at 800 René Lévesque Boulevard West opposite Place Ville-Marie, and next to the Queen Elizabeth Hotel.

Altitude Montreal is a 33-storey, 124 m (407 ft) skyscraper in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located at 1225 Robert-Bourassa Boulevard at the corner of Cathcart Street in Downtown Montreal, opposite Place Ville-Marie. This modern skyscraper was designed by some of the same architects who were behind the Louvre Pyramid. [1] Altitude Montreal consists of luxury condominiums and offers hotel-style services to residents such as a pool, spa, fitness centre, lounge, restaurant, business centre, conference room, security, concierge service and a valet. This location also offers famed restaurants like Zibo and Moretti at its street level. As of 2021, it is the city's second tallest residential tower, as it was surpassed by L'Avenue upon its completion. Construction on the tower began on May 3, 2016 on what was previously a parking lot, and was topped out with the addition of the architectural tip in November.Altitude Montreal was designed by architecture firm Jean-Pierre Lagacé Architects, Nicolet Chartrand Knoll are the structural engineers, Bouthillette Parizeau are the mechanical engineers, and interior design by Nicole Vekemans. The developer is Daca Group.

The Tour des Canadiens is a condominium skyscraper complex in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is situated next to the Bell Centre in downtown Montreal, at Avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal and Rue de la Montagne, and is named for the Montreal Canadiens hockey team, which is a part-owner of the project. The tower consists of 552 condos, with thirteen floors of parking and a large sports bar on the ground floor. As of February 2013, the project has been approved by the city and is 100% sold. Construction began in July 2013, and was completed in 2016. At 50 floors and an estimated 167 metres (548 ft), it is the seventh tallest building in the city, and the second tallest residential tower.

Complexe Maisonneuve is an office building complex in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Complexe Maisonneuve is located on De la Gauchetière Street West between University Street and Beaver Hall Hill. It is situated facing Victoria Square in the Quartier international district of Downtown Montreal, and is linked to Montreal's Underground City and Square-Victoria-OACI Station on the Montreal Metro. The complex consists of two buildings, the Tour de la Banque Nationale and 700 de La Gauchetière. It was inaugurated on October 31, 1983. The two towers share an underground base six floors deep. The complex was designed by American architect Sylvia Gottwald-Thapar in the modernist architectural style, and is the only all-steel structure built in Montreal since the 1960s.
