Youth Theatre on the Fontanka

The Polish Garden (Russian: Польский сад, tr. Polsky sad) is a 2.3–hectare garden and park complex in the Admiralteysky District of St. Petersburg, Russia. It is bounded by the Fontanka River embankment to the north and the Catholic Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary to the south. The Garden was named after the Polish community of Saint Petersburg which attended the Cathedral in the 19th century.The predecessor of the current park was a private palatial garden in the courtyard of the estate belonging to Gavrila Derzhavin on the Fontanka, which was probably remodelled under the supervision of Nikolay Lvov. In 2006, the property was acquired by the National Pushkin Museum and between 2007 and 2011 the park and the Derzhavin Palace were renovated.The entry to the Polish Garden is free and the premises are often used for weddings, public gatherings and photoshoots.

D. I. Mendeleev Institute for Metrology (Russian: Всероссийский научно-исследовательский институт имени Д. И. Менделеева; VNIIM), previously known as the Main Chamber of Weights and Measures of the Russian Empire, or the Depot of Exemplary Measures and Weights, is one of the leading national metrology institutes of Russia now.

Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was a Catholic cathedral in the city of St. Petersburg from 1873 to 1926 and the residence of Metropolitan of Mogilev, the head of the Catholic Church in the Russian Empire. Administratively it belongs to the North-West region Catholic Archdiocese of Moscow, led by Archbishop Metropolitan Paolo Pezzi. Cathedral is closed to the building from the street, which is Russia's only Catholic seminary Mary Queen of the Apostles. The Cathedral has regular concerts of sacred music and is situated south of the Polish Garden.

Baltic State Technical University "Voenmeh" D.F. Ustinov (Russian: Балтийский государственный технический университет "Военмех" им. Д.Ф.Устинова; abbreviated BGTU) is a Russian technical university situated in Saint Petersburg. Previously it was known as the Leningrad Mechanical Institute (Russian: Ленинградский механический институт) and Military Mechanical Institute (Russian: Военно-механический институт).

Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (SPbGASU) (Russian: Санкт-Петербургский государственный архитектурно-строительный университет (СПбГАСУ)) is a Russian federal state-owned higher education institution based in Saint Petersburg. It is the oldest architecture university in the country.

The Obukhovsky or Obukhov Bridge (Russian: Обуховский мост) is a bridge in St. Petersburg, Russia. It carries Moskovsky Prospekt over the Fontanka River. It was originally built as a stone bridge in 1785–86 to replace a 1717 wooden bridge, and was named after the builder. It was substantially modified in 1865 and again in 1938–1940.

Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University (PGUPS) (Russian: Петербургский государственный университет путей сообщения Императора Александра I, abbreviated ПГУПС) is a higher education institution specializing in railway transport. Before 1990 it was known as "Leningrad Institute of Railway Engineers". The main building is located on Moskovsky Prospekt, number 9. The University provides training in specialties and areas of bachelor and master training. Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University is an academic partner of the Center for international logistics of Russian Railways and Deutsche Bahn AG.

Tekhnologichesky Institut (Russian: Технологи́ческий институ́т, IPA: [tʲɪxnəlɐˈɡʲitɕɪskʲɪj ɪnstʲɪˈtut]) (English: Technology Institute) is a cross-platform interchange station of the Saint Petersburg Metro. The station consists of two halls, both serving the Kirovsko-Vyborgskaya Line and Moskovsko-Petrogradskaya Line trains. The first hall serves the southbound trains, while the second hall serves the northbound ones.

The Children's Theatre "Na Neve" (en Russian: Детский драматический театр «На Неве») is a theatre in Saint Petersburg. The theatre was opened in 1987.

Sennoy Municipal Okrug (Russian: Сенно́й муниципа́льный о́круг) is a municipal okrug of Admiralteysky District of the federal city of St. Petersburg, Russia. Population: 22,384 (2010 Census); 28,105 (2002 Census).It borders the Fontanka River in the south, Kryukov Canal in the west, Sadovaya Street and Voznesensky Avenue in the northwest, the Moyka River in the north, and Gorokhovaya Street in the east. Places of interest include Hay Square, Garden Street, Griboyedov Canal, and the Yusupov Palace.

The Column of Glory (Russian: Колонна Славы, Kolonna Slavy), sometimes called the Russo-Turkish War Memorial column, is a victory memorial situated in the immediate surroundings of the Trinity Cathedral in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Completed in 2004 as a gift at the 300th anniversary of the city in 2003, the monument is an exact replica of a monument from 1886 that was destroyed by Soviet leader Joseph Stalin in 1929.

Saint Petersburg State Institute of Technology (Technical University) (Russian: Санкт-Петербургский Технологический Институт (Технический Университет)) was founded in 1828. It is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in Russia, and it currently trains around 5,000 students.
