Palézieux railway station serves the village of Palézieux, within the municipality of Oron, in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland. The station is located at the junction of the standard gauge Lausanne–Bern and Palézieux–Lyss lines of Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), 20.6 kilometres (12.8 mi) from Lausanne. The station is also the terminus of the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) gauge Palézieux–Bulle–Montbovon line of Transports publics Fribourgeois. Palézieux's other station, Palézieux-Village, is located to the north on the Palézieux–Lyss line.The station has two parts, one for the national railways (SBB) and the other for the metre gauge line; it is the only station on the Transports publics Fribourgeois network which is in the canton of Vaud. There are three through-platforms on the SBB mainline, with further platforms at the adjacent metre gauge railway terminus. The station is staffed by SBB Monday to Friday. There are 179 car parking spaces.

Remaufens railway station (French: Gare de Remaufens), is a railway station in the municipality of Remaufens, in the Swiss canton of Fribourg. It is an intermediate stop on the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) metre gauge Palézieux–Bulle–Montbovon railway line of Transports publics Fribourgeois.

Écoteaux is a former municipality in the district of Lavaux-Oron in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. The municipalities of Bussigny-sur-Oron, Châtillens, Chesalles-sur-Oron, Écoteaux, Oron-la-Ville, Oron-le-Châtel, Palézieux, Les Tavernes, Les Thioleyres and Vuibroye merged on 1 January 2012 into the new municipality of Oron.

Mont Pèlerin (; French: [mɔ̃ pɛlʁɛ̃]; 1,080 metres (3,540 ft)) is a mountain of the Swiss Plateau, overlooking Lake Geneva in the canton of Vaud. It lies north of Chardonne, over Vevey, the border with the canton of Fribourg running at the eastern foot of the mountain. The Vevey–Chardonne–Mont Pèlerin funicular links Vevey and Mont Pèlerin. The Mont Pèlerin TV Tower is located on the wooded summit. The Mont Pelerin Society was named after the resort, following its inception at a meeting there in 1947.
