Schaerbeek (French, pronounced [skaʁbek] (listen)) or Schaarbeek (Dutch, pronounced [ˈsxaːrbeːk] (listen)) is one of the 19 municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium. Located in the north-eastern part of the region, it is bordered by the City of Brussels, Etterbeek, Evere and Saint-Josse-ten-Noode. In common with all of Brussels' municipalities, it is legally bilingual (French–Dutch). Schaerbeek has a multicultural identity stemming from its diverse population. As of 1 December 2019, the municipality had a total population of 132,861 inhabitants, 66,010 men and 66,851 women, for an area of 8.14 km2 (3.14 sq mi), which gives a population density of 16,322/km2 (42,270/sq mi).

Residence Brusilia is a curved building in the Schaerbeek district of Brussels, Belgium, next to Josaphat Park. It was designed by the Belgian architect Jacques Cuisinier and built from 1970 to 1974. At 35 stories and 100 metres (330 ft) tall, it remained the tallest all-residential building in Belgium until the 142 metres (466 ft) tall UP-site Tower was completed in Brussels in 2014.The upper floors offer a wide view over Brussels and beyond (as far north as Antwerp and Doel Nuclear Power Station on a clear day). Originally the building was supposed to be double the width. The left half was built first, together with the foundations of the right half, but the right tower was postponed sine die because of the first oil crisis. In 2014, a lower building was completed in a different style on the right foundations.

The Schaerbeek Beer Museum (French: Musée schaerbeekois de la bière; Dutch: Schaarbeeks Biermuseum) in the commune of Schaerbeek, Brussels, Belgium is a museum dedicated to Belgian beers. The museum, which is a not-for-profit association (in Belgium, an asbl), was founded in 1993 and officially opened in March, 1994. The museum houses a collection of more than 1000 bottles of Belgian beer and their respective beer glasses. Also exhibited are beer making machines, tools, advertisements and the archives of breweries past and present. The museum also features a reconstruction of a tavern from the early 1900s. A beer named la "Schaerbeekoise" is produced for the museum by the Brasserie des Rocs. This beer, as well as many other varieties of Belgian beer, is served in the museum's own tavern which is in the former workshops of a nearby school.

The Josaphat Brownfield (formerly the Schaerbeek Josaphat marshalling yard) is a 25 ha (62-acre) piece of land located between Schaerbeek and Evere in Brussels. Once a marshalling yard between the Meiser railway station and the Evere railway station linking Schaerbeek and Halle, the brownfield has since developed into a biodiversity haven in the heart of the European Union's capital.

Meiser railway station is a railway station in Brussels, Belgium, which was opened in 1976. It is located on line 26 between the stations of Schaerbeek-Josaphat and of Mérode in the municipality of Schaerbeek. The crossroad Meiser on the greater ring is located a hundred meters away from the station which lies under the Chaussée de Louvain/Leuvensesteenweg. The station can be accessed via the Chaussée de Louvain, the Avenue Rogier/Rogierlaan or the Rue de la Luzerne/Luzernestraat.

The Autrique House (French: Maison Autrique, Dutch: Autrique Huis) was the first town house built by Victor Horta in Art Nouveau style. This house, built in 1893, represents an essential step in the evolution of the Belgian architect. In many ways, it was an innovative dwelling, although it does not feature the novel spatial composition of the almost contemporary Hôtel Tassel. The house is located 266, chaussée de Haecht/Haachtsesteenweg, in the municipality of Schaerbeek in Brussels, Belgium. The Autrique House was built for the engineer Eugène Autrique and his family. Due to budget restrictions, the family wanted a simple but comfortable home. For this reason, many custom made details, which Horta designed himself in most of the other town houses he built, were abolished. The house was kept in a relatively good condition during the 20th century. In the 1990s, it was bought by the municipality of Schaerbeek. It was thoroughly renovated and is now opened to the public.

Saint-Josse-ten-Noode (French: [sɛ̃ ʒos ten nɔd]) or Sint-Joost-ten-Node (Dutch pronunciation: [sɪn ˈcoːst tɛn ˈnoːdə]), often simply called Saint-Josse or Sint-Joost, is one of the nineteen municipalities in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium. It is bordered by the City of Brussels and Schaerbeek. On 1 January 2007, the municipality had a total population of 23,785. The total area is 1.14 km² which gives a population density of 20,664 inhabitants per km². From a total of 581 municipalities in Belgium, Saint-Josse-ten-Noode is both the smallest in area size and the most densely populated. In common with all of Brussels' municipalities, it is legally bilingual (French–Dutch).

The Royal Kituro Avia Schaerbeek Rugby Club, often shortened Kituro RC, is a Belgian rugby union club currently competing in the Belgian Elite League. On 8th February 2015, they beat RC Soignies 356-3, breaking the all-time record for the highest scoring game in Rugby union history. The club is based in Schaerbeek, a suburb to Brussels. The official colours of the club are green and black. The Kituro is a 50-year-old rugby club; one of the most successful and best known in Belgium with more than 560 players from U7 to U19, Seniors, Veterans, Ladies and a Touch Team. It benefits from the best quality rugby ground in Belgium with its two new synthetic pitches (International IRB Standards), six changing rooms and a friendly and very comfortable club house.The club is located in Brussels alongside the Boulevard Léopold III (Zaventem airport highway) between NATO and the EU Schuman area.

The Municipal Hall (French: Hôtel communal, Dutch: Gemeentehuis) of Schaerbeek is the municipal hall building and the seat of that municipality of Brussels, Belgium. Designed by the architect Jules Jacques Van Ysendyck in neo-Flemish Renaissance style, it is located at the centre of the Place Colignon/Colignonplein. This site is served by the tram stop Pavillon/Paviljoen (on line 55).
