Concrete is a multi-disciplinary space located on Alserkal Avenue in the Al Quoz district of Dubai. It is the first building in the United Arab Emirates to be completed by the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA). With multiple configurations, the 600-square-metre Concrete has double-height ceilings, movable walls and a translucent facade that can be positioned to create indoor-outdoor experiences.Iyad Alsaka of OMA's Dubai office was the lead architect on the project, which opened to public in March 2017 with the exhibition Syria: Into the Light, organized the Atassi Foundation. Non-profit exhibitions held in Concrete since its inauguration are: While We Wait, commissioned by the Victoria & Albert Museum; Ishara: Signs, Symbols and Shared Languages, in partnership with UAE Unlimited; Adapt to Survive in collaboration with Hayward Gallery, London, and Fabric(ated) Fractures, in collaboration with Samdani Art Foundation. In April 2019, Concrete was shortlisted for the 2019 Aga Khan Award for Architecture.

Al Quoz (Arabic: القوز), or "El Goze" in Emirati Arabic is a locality / town in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Al Quoz is located in western Dubai. It is bordered to the north by Al Wasl and to the west by Umm Al Sheif, Al Manara and Al Safa, forming a long rectangle between Al Khail and Sheikh Zayed roads. Al Manara (Arabic: المنارة) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located in western Dubai, Al Manara is bordered to the north by Umm Suqeim, the east and south by Al Quoz and the west by Umm Al Sheif. Al Manara, literally meaning The Beacon, is a developing residential community and houses many affluent villas and town housees. The locality is bounded to the southeast by route E 11 (Sheikh Zayed Road). Interchange No. 3 on Sheikh Zayed Road (also known as Al Manara Interchange) forms the southeasternmost section of the locality. Al Manara is separated from Umm Al Sheif by a local road (Al Thaniya Road).

Al Safa (Arabic: الصفا; formerly Noor Bank, Noor Islamic Bank and Al Quoz) is a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving Al Quoz and surrounding areas. The station is named after the nearby Al Safa. The station, originally planned as "Al Quoz", opened as part of the Red Line on 15 May 2010 as "Noor Bank", and was renamed to "Al Safa" in November 24, 2020. It is located on the Sheikh Zayed Road near the major junction with Al Manara Street. Nearby are Al Quoz Bus Station, Kite Beach, Oasis Mall, and the Times Square Centre. As well as Al Quoz, surrounding neighbourhoods include the eponymous Al Safa itself and Umm Suqeim. The station is close to a number of bus routes.

Equiti (Arabic: اكويتي; formerly First Gulf Bank, First Abu Dhabi Bank and, Umm Al Sheif) is a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving Al Quoz and surrounding areas. The station is named after the nearby Umm Al Sheif locality. The station opened as part of the Red Line on 15 October 2010. Former names include "First Gulf Bank" and then "First Abu Dhabi Bank" on September 21, 2017, before it was renamed as "Umm Al Sheif" in November 24, 2020. Most recently it has been renamed "Equiti" on 18 April 2022, after the Equiti Group, for a period of ten years until 2032.Equiti station is located on the Sheikh Zayed Road near the major junction with Umm Suqeim Street. Nearby is the Gold and Diamond Park, immediately adjacent to the station, including the Old Library building. As well as Al Quoz, surrounding neighbourhoods include the eponymous Umm Al Sheif itself and Umm Suqeim. The station is close to a number of bus routes.

Umm Al Sheif (Arabic: ام الشيف) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Umm Al Sheif is a small, residential locality in western Dubai. It is bordered to the north by Umm Suqeim, the northeast by Al Manara, the south by Al Barsha and Al Quoz and the west by Al Sufouh. It is bounded to the north by route D 92 (Al Wasl Road) and to the south by route E 11 (Sheikh Zayed Road). A local road (Al Thaniya Road) separates Umm Al Sheif from Al Manara. Umm Al Sheif is a developing, affluent residential community with villas and town houses. The local road system primarily conforms to the grid plan, however, residential communities are divided typically into lots. Even-numbered roads run northeast–southwest, while odd-numbered roads sun northwest–southeast. The Emirates International School is located in Umm Al Sheif.

German International School Dubai (German: Deutsche Internationale Schule Dubai, DISD) is a German international school in Academic City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It serves kindergarten and grades 1–12.It was established in 2008. As of February 2015 the school has over 500 students in school grades and over 100 in kindergarten. The German International School Dubai moved to its new campus in Academic City in the 2015–2016 school year.The school proctors the Abitur exam.

Umm Suqiem (Arabic: ام سقيم) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Umm Suqiem is located in western Dubai, along the Jumeirah Beach coastline. It is bordered to the north by Jumeirah, to the south by Al Sufouh, and to the west by Al Safa, Al Manara and Umm Al Sheif. Umm Suqiem comprises three sub-communities - — Umm Suqiem 1, Umm Suqiem 2 and Umm Suqiem 3 — which house affluent residential communities and tourist attractions. Umm Al Sheif Road separates Umm Suqiem from Jumeirah while routing D 65 (Al Manara Road) separates Umm Suqiem 1 from Umm Suqiem 2 and Al Thanya Road separates Umm Suqiem 2 from Umm Suqiem 3. Al Thanya Road is the most important road in all of Umm Suqeim because of the residents that live on it. Several important tourist attractions and commercial centers are located in Umm Suqiem. Emirates International School, Suqiem Public Park and Same Day Dental Clinic are located in Umm Suqeim 2, while Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Burj Al Arab and Wild Wadi Water Park is located in Umm Suqiem 3, along the sub-community Jumeirah Beach coast. Schools in the area include Emirates International School – Jumeirah, and King's Dubai School, a private primary school with around 900 students enrolled.

Credence High School is a CBSE-affiliated co-educational Indian school in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was established in 2014 to provide education to the children of Indian expatriates and is located off Sheikh Zayed Road, in Al Quoz. The school is rated Good by Knowledge and Human Development Authority, the education regulating body of the UAE and hosts students of over thirty nationalities.

Al Safa (Arabic: الصفا) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Al Safa is located in western Dubai and is bordered to the north by Jumeirah, to the south by Al Quoz, to the east by Al Wasl, and to the west by Al Manara. Al Safa is bounded to the northwest and southwest by routes D 92 (Al Wasl Road) and E 11 (Sheikh Zayed Road) respectively. Al Safa is a residential area; Interchange No. 2 (Pepsi Interchange) of Sheikh Zayed Road forms the southeastern periphery of the locality. Al Safa terminates at Interchange No. 3. Al Safa is divided into two subcommunities — Al Safa 1 and Al Safa 2, which house extremely affluent residential communities. Important landmarks in Al Safa include Emirates English Speaking School, Jumeirah English Speaking School, Jumeirah Primary School and the consulate of China.

Mall of the Emirates metro station Arabic: مول الإمارات is a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE. The station opened on 9 September 2009. It is connected directly to the Mall of the Emirates by an enclosed overhead walkway.
