Umm Suqeim

Al Safa (Arabic: الصفا; formerly Noor Bank, Noor Islamic Bank and Al Quoz) is a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving Al Quoz and surrounding areas. The station is named after the nearby Al Safa. The station, originally planned as "Al Quoz", opened as part of the Red Line on 15 May 2010 as "Noor Bank", and was renamed to "Al Safa" in November 24, 2020. It is located on the Sheikh Zayed Road near the major junction with Al Manara Street. Nearby are Al Quoz Bus Station, Kite Beach, Oasis Mall, and the Times Square Centre. As well as Al Quoz, surrounding neighbourhoods include the eponymous Al Safa itself and Umm Suqeim. The station is close to a number of bus routes.

Al Manara (Arabic: المنارة) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located in western Dubai, Al Manara is bordered to the north by Umm Suqeim, the east and south by Al Quoz and the west by Umm Al Sheif. Al Manara, literally meaning The Beacon, is a developing residential community and houses many affluent villas and town housees. The locality is bounded to the southeast by route E 11 (Sheikh Zayed Road). Interchange No. 3 on Sheikh Zayed Road (also known as Al Manara Interchange) forms the southeasternmost section of the locality. Al Manara is separated from Umm Al Sheif by a local road (Al Thaniya Road).

Al Safa is bounded to the northwest and southwest by routes D 92 (Al Wasl Road) and E 11 (Sheikh Zayed Road) respectively. Al Safa is a residential area; Interchange No. 2 (Pepsi Interchange) of Sheikh Zayed Road forms the southeastern periphery of the locality. Al Safa terminates at Interchange No. 3. Al Safa is divided into two subcommunities — Al Safa 1 and Al Safa 2, which house extremely affluent residential communities. Important landmarks in Al Safa include Emirates English Speaking School, Jumeirah English Speaking School, Jumeirah Primary School and the consulate of China.

The Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque (Arabic: مسجد ومركز الفاروق عمر بن الخطاب) is a mosque located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The mosque is named after Umar bin Al Khattab, a companion of the Prophet Mohammed who became the second Caliph after Abu Bakr and was given the title Al Farooq, meaning someone who distinguished truth from falsehood. The original Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque was established on the same site in 1986. The building was renovated twice, in 2003 and later in 2011 by the order of Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, the chairman of the business empire that bears his family name and whose interests stretch from vehicle sales, schools and hotels to engineering and publishing. It was opened to the public on July 29, 2011.The Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque can accommodate 2,000 worshipers and is considered one of the UAE’s largest mosques and the third of its kind to open its doors to non-Muslims after the Mosque of late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi and the Grand Mosque in Jumeirah. In 2017, The Al-Farooq Omar Bin Al-wKhattab Mosque & Center (AFMC) has receive distinguished reciters from different parts of the Middle East during Ramadan. The reciters, Sheikh Abdullah Ghilan from Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdul Wali Al-Arkani from Bahrain and Sheikh Hassan Ali Merheb from Lebanon, will lead Taraweeh prayers every day during the holy month.

Concrete is a multi-disciplinary space located on Alserkal Avenue in the Al Quoz district of Dubai. It is the first building in the United Arab Emirates to be completed by the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA). With multiple configurations, the 600-square-metre Concrete has double-height ceilings, movable walls and a translucent facade that can be positioned to create indoor-outdoor experiences.Iyad Alsaka of OMA's Dubai office was the lead architect on the project, which opened to public in March 2017 with the exhibition Syria: Into the Light, organized the Atassi Foundation. Non-profit exhibitions held in Concrete since its inauguration are: While We Wait, commissioned by the Victoria & Albert Museum; Ishara: Signs, Symbols and Shared Languages, in partnership with UAE Unlimited; Adapt to Survive in collaboration with Hayward Gallery, London, and Fabric(ated) Fractures, in collaboration with Samdani Art Foundation. In April 2019, Concrete was shortlisted for the 2019 Aga Khan Award for Architecture.

The English College follows the British national curriculum and has 1480 students from a variety of nationalities. The premises are located in the Al Safa and house a swimming pool, sports hall, two libraries, football field, basketball court, art studio and a Sixth Form common room.

The Salsali Private Museum [SPM], in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the first private museum in the region for contemporary Middle Eastern and international art. It was founded in November 2011 by Ramin Salsali and is located in the industrial area of Al Quoz on Alserkal Avenue, a complex with the highest concentration of galleries and creative spaces in the region. Exhibitions at SPM feature artworks from the Salsali's collection and exhibits from across the globe. SPM serves as an independent center for art collectors.

This wave-shaped hotel complements the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab, which is adjacent to the Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

Jumeirah English Speaking School is a British private school located in Dubai, UAE. Its original campus on Sheikh Zayed Road is a primary school; A second campus at Arabian Ranches has students from primary, secondary, and high school. As of December 2016, JESS had 2000 students enrolled. The students in secondary school (Years 7 to 11) follow the British curriculum, with year 11 students undertaking GCSE examinations. After the completion of GCSE, year 12 and 13 students follow the International Baccalaureate Curriculum, taking part in the Diploma Programme.

Umm Al Sheif (Arabic: ام الشيف) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Umm Al Sheif is a small, residential locality in western Dubai. It is bordered to the north by Umm Suqeim, the northeast by Al Manara, the south by Al Barsha and Al Quoz and the west by Al Sufouh. It is bounded to the north by route D 92 (Al Wasl Road) and to the south by route E 11 (Sheikh Zayed Road). A local road (Al Thaniya Road) separates Umm Al Sheif from Al Manara. Umm Al Sheif is a developing, affluent residential community with villas and town houses. The local road system primarily conforms to the grid plan, however, residential communities are divided typically into lots. Even-numbered roads run northeast–southwest, while odd-numbered roads sun northwest–southeast. The Emirates International School is located in Umm Al Sheif.
