The Pillnitz Kleinzschachwitz Ferry, also known as the Schlossfähre, is a ferry across the Elbe river in Germany. It crosses between the districts of Pillnitz and Kleinzschachwitz in the city of Dresden, close to the former's collection of palaces that give the ferry its alternate name. It carries both passengers and cars.The ferry service is operated by the Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe (DVB), Dresden's municipal transport authority, and carries the number F14 in the Verkehrsverbund Oberelbe route numbering scheme. It operates every 15 minutes throughout the day. It is the only vehicle ferry operated by DVB, although they also operate a fleet of smaller passenger ferries.The ferry boat used on the service is named Schloßfähre, is diesel powered, and is propelled using Schottel pump jets. It has a length of 29 metres (95 ft) and a width of 8.6 metres (28 ft). It can carry 140 passenger and 8 cars, or 350 passengers if no cars are carried.

The Carl Maria von Weber Museum is a cultural site in Dresden, in Saxony, Germany. The composer Carl Maria von Weber (1786–1826) lived here during part of his career; the house is now a museum about his life and work.

The Lockwitzbach is a river of Saxony, Germany. It is a left tributary of the Elbe, which it joins near Dresden.

Pillnitz Palace (German: Schloss Pillnitz) is a restored Baroque schloss at the eastern end of the city of Dresden in the German state of Saxony. It is located on the right bank of the River Elbe in the former village of Pillnitz. It was the summer residence of many electors and kings of Saxony; it is also known for the Declaration of Pillnitz in 1791. The complex consists of three main buildings, the Riverside Palace (Wasserpalais) on the riverfront; the Upper Palace (Bergpalais) on the hillside, both Baroque with Chinoiserie elements; and the later Neoclassical New Palace (Neues Palais), which links them together on the east side. The buildings enclose a Baroque garden and are surrounded by a large public park. Today, the buildings house the arts and crafts museum (Kunstgewerbemuseum) of the Dresden State Art Collections and a Schlossmuseum.

Pillnitz is a quarter in the east of Dresden, Germany. It can be reached by bus, ship, walking along the river or by bicycle. Pillnitz is most famous for its Baroque palace and park, the Pillnitz Castle. Pillnitz Palace consists of the Riverside Palace (Wasserpalais) at the river, the parallel Upper Palace (Bergpalais) towards the hills and the linking building New Palace (Neues Palais). The first two were designed by Matthäus Daniel Pöppelmann. The buildings frame the Baroque inner garden; this entire ensemble is surrounded by a park. Pillnitz is known for the Declaration of Pillnitz of 1791: Emperor Leopold II and King Frederick William II of Prussia, urged by Charles X, then Comte d'Artois, declared that the French King Louis XVI was not to be harmed or deprived of power as a way to attack the progress of the French Revolution. Pillnitz is also a site of wine production. During the millennium flood of 2002 in Dresden, it was one of the most affected areas.

The Keppgrund is a wooded side valley of the River Elbe between Loschwitz and Pillnitz, near Dresden in Saxony, Germany. It is part of the conservation area Elbhänge Dresden – Pirna. The Keppbach, a brook rising in the Schönfeld Upland and about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) long, flows through the valley into the Elbe.In the lower part of the Keppgrund is the Keppmühle, a former watermill, the only one remaining of four mills that were here in 1721. It is thought there was a mill on the site in the 12th century; the present half-timbered building dates from 1781. By the 19th century the Keppgrund had become a popular place for excursions, and a restaurant opened at the Keppmühle. Milling ceased in 1902, and the restaurant closed in 1984.The composer Carl Maria von Weber lived nearby, during summer months in the 1820s, in Hosterwitz, at that time a vine-growing village, now a part of Dresden. He often took evening walks through the Keppgrund and visited the Keppmühle. A plaque was placed on the building in 1963 to commemorate his visits.

The Protestant Vineyard Church "Zum Heiligen Geist" is a baroque village church in the Dresden district of Pillnitz, named after its location in the Royal Vineyard. It is not to be confused with the Vineyard Church built in the 20th century in the Trachenberge district of Dresden. The sacral building was built from 1723 as a replacement for the Pillnitz Palace, which was demolished for the expansion of Pillnitz Palace. It is the first executed church building by Matthäus Daniel Pöppelmann, the architect of the Dresden Zwinger, and is considered a "landmark of the Pillnitz landscape." The building, which had fallen into serious disrepair especially during the second part of the last century, was extensively restored in the 1990s. The vineyard church is under cultural heritage management and is part of the cultural landscape of the Dresden Elbe Valley.

The Laubegast Niederpoyritz Ferry is a passenger ferry across the Elbe river in Germany. It crosses between the districts of Laubegast and Niederpoyritz in the city of Dresden.The ferry service is operated by the Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe (DVB), Dresden's municipal transport authority. The service is maintained by one of the DVB's fleet of five passenger ferries. All the vessels are diesel propelled but of different designs. The oldest ferry dates from 1927 and the most recent from 2004. The smallest ferry carries a maximum of 40 passengers, whilst the largest passenger ferry carries up to 120. All ferries are painted in the DVB's yellow and white livery.

Leuben is a quarter and a borough (Stadtbezirk) of the German city of Dresden. The borough Leuben consists of the quarters Leuben, Laubegast, Kleinzschachwitz and Großzschachwitz. Its population is 38,353 (2020).

The Himmelfahrtskirche (German pronunciation: [ˈhɪml̩faːɐ̯tsˌkɪʁçə]; Church of the Ascension) is a Protestant church in the Leuben district of Dresden. It was designed by Karl Emil Scherz and completed in 1901, replacing the Alte Kirche. It is a listed monument.
