Penn is an unincorporated community and former railway station in Lane County, in the U.S. state of Oregon. It was named for the Penn Timber Company, which operated in the vicinity.Penn lies along Penn Road between Walton and Flagg in the Central Oregon Coast Range east of Florence. Wildcat Creek, a tributary of the Siuslaw River, flows by Penn.The name of the post office for Penn was McGlynn. Postal officials rejected Penn as the name for the office because it might be confused with other entities. They approved McGlynn, named after Thomas McGlynn, who owned the land where the post office was established. The McGlynn post office opened in 1923 and closed in 1938.

Noti (pronounced NO-tie) is an unincorporated community in Lane County, Oregon, United States, located in the foothills of the Central Oregon Coast Range between Eugene and Florence. Per the 2000 census, Noti had a total population of 699.

Vaughn is an unincorporated community in Lane County, Oregon, United States. It is located about 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Noti in the foothills of the Central Oregon Coast Range near Noti Creek. Author Ralph Friedman described Vaughn as "a mill in the meadows".

Walton is an unincorporated community in Lane County, Oregon, United States. It is located halfway between Eugene and Florence on Oregon Route 126. Construction of Route 126 began in 1881, and after it crossed the Oregon Coast Range near Noti, it followed a tributary of the Siuslaw River named Walton Creek. Walton post office was established in 1884 to serve the settlers along the new route and postmaster James L. Atkinson named it for the stream. The stream was in turn named for Joshua J. Walton, a pioneer lawyer who served as a county judge and regent for the University of Oregon. After the turn of the 19th century, the stream's name was changed to Wildcat Creek.

Inlow was the name of a post office in Lane County, Oregon, United States, on what is now Nelson Mountain Road near the confluence of Chickahominy and Nelson creeks, approximately one mile north of Walton. Inlow post office was established June 20, 1899, and was named for either Igo Inlow or his father, "Doc" Inlow. The office closed to Hale in 1901.

Globe is an unincorporated community in Lane County, in the U.S. state of Oregon. Globe lies along Oregon Route 126 between Walton and Austa in the Central Oregon Coast Range east of Florence. Wildcat Creek, a tributary of the Siuslaw River, flows by Globe. One of the creek's tributaries, Pataha Creek, enters the larger stream at Globe.

The Oregon Country Fair (OCF) is a nonprofit organization and an annual three-day art and music fair held outside the city limits of Veneta, Oregon, United States. Located in the Willamette Valley, the site is about 13 miles (21 km) west of Eugene along the Long Tom River near the unincorporated community of Elmira. Annual attendance is approximately 35,000, and the fair has around 960 craft and food booths each year. The event is known as an outgrowth of the counter-culture movement and for using environmentally-friendly practices during the fair.The Oregon Country Fair begins on the Friday of the second weekend in July every year (i.e. as early as July 7 and as late as July 13). The fair is a non-profit organization and as such has a board of directors. Additionally, the management structure of the Oregon Country Fair is typically composed of an Executive Director, an Operations Manager, a Site and Facilities Manager, and a team of volunteer Back Up Managers, otherwise known as BUMS, who serve as representation for the fair's paid management staff for the duration of the event.

West Lane Technology Learning Center is an online charter school in Elmira, Oregon, United States. It is located on the campus of Elmira High School.

Elmira High School (often abbreviated as EHS) is a public high school in Elmira, Oregon, United States, located approximately 15 miles from Eugene, Oregon. It is one of the four schools of the Fern Ridge School District and provides an education of grades 9-12 for the city of Veneta, as well as for the towns of Elmira, Noti and Walton. Total enrollment numbers range from 350 to 450 students with a roughly even gender ratio. They operate on a seven period schedule over the course of two semesters, beginning in early September and ending in early June. EHS has four main buildings. In the lower left corner of the school consists of the main office and entrance, the theatre, library and the main studio for the school's radio station KOCF 92.7 FM, hosted by Stuart "Stu" Burgess. This building also contains the main hallways for the sophomore, junior and senior classes, as well as the counseling and learning centers. There is also an outdoor area outside of the building for social gatherings between students during passing periods and lunch. In the lower right corner is where the main gym and auxiliary gym are situated, as well as the freshman hallway and the Home Ec classroom. The auxiliary gym used to be the school's front entrance, however due to the athletics department asking for more practicing space and extracurricular opportunities, the auxiliary gym was built to satisfy those needs, and the school went for a more interior focused entrance. In the upper left corner is the Cafeteria, and in the upper right corner is the Band/Choir room, the weight room and workshops for students interested in welding, carpentry, woodworking and more.

Elmira is an unincorporated community in Lane County, Oregon, United States. It is located west of Eugene and north of Veneta and Oregon Route 126, near the Long Tom River and Fern Ridge Reservoir. The community was named after Elmira, California, after previously having the name "Duckworth". A local business owner persuaded postal authorities to rename the community "Elmira" in 1884.In approximately 1905, Elmira Road and the surrounding area was homesteaded by Henry and Celia Faulhaber along with their children Leon, Neil and Mildred. Sometime between 1905 and 1916 Elmira Road was donated back to the county by Henry Faulhaber and later renamed Faulhaber Road.

Austa is an unincorporated community in Lane County, Oregon, United States, on Oregon Route 126, approximately 6 miles (10 km) west of Walton. Wildcat Creek empties into the Siuslaw River at this site, and the Lane County Park Service maintains a boat ramp. Austa was named after Austa Grace Yingling where she met her husband William John Vaughn, who drove a stage coach along the river.
