Raggenhorn is a mountain of Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

The Schwarze Grat between Eschachthal in the Bavarian county of Oberallgäu and Bolsternang in the Baden-Württemberg county of Ravensburg is 1,118 m above sea level (NHN) and thus the highest mountain in Ravensburg, in the province of Tübingen (Baden-Württemberg) and the Adelegg range, although within the Adelegg region it is topped by the Ursersberg (1,129 m). An observation tower, the Schwarzer Grat Tower stands at the summit.

The ruins of Alt-Trauchburg Castle (German: Burg Alt-Trauchburg), also called the Alttrauchburg or Trauchburg, lie above the Weitnau hamlet of Kleinweiler in the county of Oberallgäu in Swabia. Large parts of the original stone walls of the high- to post-medieval castle remain. The ruins are some of the best preserved in the Allgäu region of Germany.

The Allgäu (Standard German: [ˈalɡɔʏ]) or Allgovia is a region in Swabia in southern Germany. It covers the south of Bavarian Swabia, southeastern Baden-Württemberg, and parts of Austria. The region stretches from the pre-alpine lands up to the Alps. The main rivers flowing through the Allgäu are the Lech and Iller. Allgäu is not an administrative unit. The alpine regions of the Allgäu rise over 2,000 metres in elevation and are popular for winter skiing. The Allgovian area is notable for its beautiful landscapes and is popular for vacations and therapeutic stays. It is well known in Germany for its farm produce, especially dairy products including Hirtenkäse ("herdsman's cheese") and Bergkäse ("mountain cheese"). Besides tourism and dairy products, another important economic sector is the building of industrial equipment and machines. Fendt tractors, developed and produced in Marktoberdorf are one of the most famous products of the region. The castle of Neuschwanstein in Hohenschwangau is in the eastern part of the Allgäu. The Allgäu is dominated in the south by the Allgäu Alps, which are not part of the Allgäu themselves. The Allgäu is formed mainly by glaciers and glacial debris. Many hills and lakes are remnants of former glaciers.

The Iberger Kugel is a 1,013 metre high mountain in the Allgäu, located seven kilometers southeast of Isny im Allgäu. A transmitter on top of the mountain transmits the radio stations Radio 7 on FM 105.0 and Radio Seefunk on FM 103.9.

The Molasse basin (or North Alpine foreland basin) is a foreland basin north of the Alps which formed during the Oligocene and Miocene epochs. The basin formed as a result of the flexure of the European plate under the weight of the orogenic wedge of the Alps that was forming to the south. In geology, the name "molasse basin" is sometimes also used in a general sense for a synorogenic (formed contemporaneously with the orogen) foreland basin of the type north of the Alps. The basin is the type locality of molasse, a sedimentary sequence of conglomerates and sandstones, material that was removed from the developing mountain chain by erosion and denudation, that is typical for foreland basins.

St. George's Abbey, Isny (German: Kloster St. Georg) in Isny im Allgäu in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, is a former Benedictine abbey founded in 1096 and secularised in 1802.
