The Valentin Blatz Brewing Company Office Building was built in 1890 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. It was originally home to the offices of the Valentin Blatz Brewing Company. It was designed by architect Paul Schnetzky in Romanesque style and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.The building was home at one time to the Beer Baron Restaurant. It features an image painted in the ceiling window that includes Joseph Schlitz, Frederick Miller, Frederick Pabst, and Valentin Blatz with Gottlieb Heileman painted, but in the distance. This is reportedly because Heileman did not build his brewery in Milwaukee. Blatz's face is a cut-out, which could be removed for him to look down upon his workers from his office.An interesting feature of the building is that it's built to 3/4 scale. Valentin was sensitive about his small stature and had the smaller building designed so that he didn't feel overwhelmed by the typical large office buildings of the time.The office building features a three-story walk-in safe.The building today is owned and operated by the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) and known as the Alumni Partnership Center. It houses the MSOE Marketing, Alumni Affairs, and Development departments. It serves as a meeting place for MSOE alumni.

The Kern Center is a 210,000-square-foot (19,500 m2) athletics and fitness facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is home to many sports at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, including ice hockey, wrestling, men's and women's basketball and volleyball. The building is named for Robert and Patricia Kern, the center's major benefactors. The financial support for the facility's land was given by Eckhart and Ischi Grohmann.The Kern Center is home to the school's Health, Development, and Wellness area. The departments in this area include Health Services, Counseling Services, and Servant-Leadership. Ground broke for construction of the Kern Center on April 11, 2003, and the facility was dedicated on October 29, 2004.

The Valentin Blatz Brewing Company was an American brewery based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It produced Blatz Beer from 1851 until 1959, when the label was sold to Pabst Brewing Company. Blatz beer is currently produced by the Miller Brewing Company of Milwaukee, under contract for Pabst Brewing Company.

The German-English Academy Building is a school built in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1891 for the German-English Academy (founded in 1851), which later became the University School of Milwaukee. The Academy played an important role during a time when Milwaukee was known as "the most German city in America." The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is now owned by the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Since 2012, it has been leased to the company Direct Supply as a technology center. It is beside the Grohmann Museum.

The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation, commonly known as the Bradley Foundation, is an American charitable foundation based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, that primarily supports conservative causes.The foundation provides between $35 million and $45 million annually to a variety of causes, including cultural institutions, community-based nonprofit organizations in Milwaukee, and conservative groups. It has been active in education reform including school choice, and efforts to change election rules. Approximately 70% of the foundation's giving is directed to national groups while 30% is Wisconsin-based. The foundation had about $850 million in assets as of 2021.

1000 North Water Street is a 16-story 296-foot-tall (90 m) post-modern high-rise office building in Milwaukee, in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It is the twelfth-tallest building in Milwaukee, and was completed in 1991, right at the tail end of a construction boom in Milwaukee that started in the late 1980s, and included 100 East Wisconsin, Northwestern Mutual Tower, and the Milwaukee Center. The facade and windows are a light pink color, giving it a unique appearance among Milwaukee's skyline.A portion of the building is a parking garage, owned by the City of Milwaukee, with 1,542 parking stalls. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security maintains a private section in the parking garage for storage and investigations.

The former Sixth Church of Christ, Scientist, built in 1902, is an historic Christian Science church edifice located at 1036 North Van Buren Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1980 the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places. On May 17, 1983, Sixth Church was made a locally designated historic site by the city of Milwaukee.Mary Baker Eddy discovered Christian Science in Massachusetts in 1866 and founded the first church in 1879 in Boston. In 1883 the dentist Dr. Silas Sawyer and his wife Jenny of Milwaukee traveled to Boston to study Eddy's ideas on healing. They began to perform healings back in Milwaukee in January 1884 and began to hold meetings in Sawyer's dental parlor. In October 1884 they organized the Christian Scientists Association of Wisconsin - the second official C.S. association in the world. In 1889 the church in Milwaukee was organized.In 1902 the association was ready for a new building. They hired architect Elmer Grey, who was then based in Milwaukee, but later moved to California where he designed Christian Science churches in Los Angeles and Long Beach. Grey designed the red brick building trimmed with red sandstone, with a rectangular footprint and a gable roof. Most Christian Science churches at this time were styled Neoclassical, but Grey gave this building some Gothic Revival features (the faint lancet in some arches, the buttresses on the front wall, and the tall chimney) and some Romanesque Revival features (the round arch above the door, the large arch above that, and the asymmetric placement of the chimney). Inside is a nave with side aisles, lit by amber windows in the dormers above. On one side is a reading room with a green-tiled fireplace.Today the building is occupied by Brew City Church.

Old St. Mary's Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin was built in 1846 and 1847. The parish was founded a year earlier, by German Catholic immigrants. It was the proto-German church of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. The city had been incorporated only the year before, and Wisconsin had not yet become a state. Old St. Mary's is the oldest church still standing in the city. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The Milwaukee City Hall is in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. It was finished in 1895, and was Milwaukee's tallest building until completion of the First Wisconsin Center in 1973. The Milwaukee City Hall was at one time even the tallest skyscraper in the World, until the completion of the Hamburg City Hall in 1897. In 1973 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts is a performing arts center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. It serves as the home of the Florentine Opera, Milwaukee Ballet, First Stage Children's Theater and other local arts organizations, and was also the home of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra from 1969 until 2020. It is located at 829 North Water Street, at the intersection of State Street in downtown Milwaukee, and is owned by Milwaukee County. The Marcus Center was designed in the Brutalist style by noted Chicago architect Harry Weese. Construction began on June 27, 1966, and it opened on July 26, 1969 as the Performing Arts Center. After a $25 million donation from the Marcus Corporation in honor of its founder Ben Marcus and his wife Ceil, Milwaukee County changed the venue's name in 1994. In 2017, Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall was fully renovated, including a new Riverwalk Entrance and lobby foyer, designed by LA DALLMAN, the Milwaukee and Boston-based architecture practice of Grace La and James Dallman. Renowned for sensitivity to mid-century modern buildings, both La and Dallman are appointed faculty at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.

This Is It!, also known locally as Tits, is a gay bar and lounge located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is the oldest, continually-operating gay bar in the state of Wisconsin.The bar is located in a building constructed in 1915 on the corner of Jefferson and Wells streets. The space the bar occupies has been used as a bar and tavern since 1936, previously known as "The Establishment", and before that "Vern's Tap".
