Assago Milanofiori Nord (Milan Metro)

Milanofiori Forum is a station on Line 2 of the Milan Metro, in the southern suburb of Assago. The line here runs beside Autostrada A7, and it is the southernmost station of the network. The station was opened on 20 February 2011 as the terminus of a two-station extension from Famagosta.The station serves the nearby Assago Forum, an indoor arena. The station can get very crowded after concerts and other events at the Forum.

Mediolanum Forum (originally the Forum di Assago, formerly the FilaForum and DatchForum) is an indoor sports arena that is located in Assago, a small town 3 km outside Milan, Italy. The arena has a seating capacity of 12,700 and is primarily used for basketball, ice hockey, tennis and live concerts. The venue is the home ground of the EuroLeague and Italian Serie A professional basketball team AX Armani Exchange Milan. In January 2009, the arena changed its name to the current name of Mediolanum Forum, replacing the old name of DatchForum.

Assago (Lombard: Assagh or Sagh [(a)ˈsaːk]) is a town and comune in the Metropolitan City of Milan, in the northern Italian region of Lombardy. It contains the headquarters of Nestlé's Italian branch and the Mediolanum Forum.

Gratosoglio (Italian: [ɡratoˈsɔʎʎo]; Milanese: Grattasoeuj [ɡrataˈsøj]) is a district (quartiere) of the city of Milan, Italy, part of the Zone 5 administrative division. It is located at southernmost end of the city, bordering on the comune of Rozzano, and it is traversed by the Lambro river. The district has an area of about 400,000 m², centered on the main thoroughfare Via dei Missaglia. Having started as a commuter town in the 1960s, with large prefabricated apartment blocks destined to house immigrant workers coming from the South of Italy, the district is usually listed among those most degraded (e.g., having the highest crime rates) in the surroundings of Milan. The name Gratosoglio is derived from the Latin words gratum solium "agreeable throne", which apostle Barnabas (founder of the Milanese church), according to a local legend, pronounced when he was about to leave Milan.

San Giovanni Bono Church is a reinforced concrete Brutalist church in Quartiere Sant'Ambrogio Milan, Italy dedicated to John the Good. The building was designed by Arrigo Arrighetti and completed in 1968.

Rozzano (Lombard: Rozzan [ruˈsãː]) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Milan, in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 9 kilometres (6 mi) south of Milan. Rozzano borders the following municipalities: Milan, Assago, Zibido San Giacomo, Opera, Pieve Emanuele, Basiglio. Rozzano received the honorary title of city with a presidential decree on July 21, 2003.

The Collegio di Milano is a merit-based inter-university campus intended to accommodate Italian and foreign students from public and private universities in Milan, who have demonstrated unique talent and enthusiasm in their studies and have obtained outstanding results. The Collegio is a nonprofit organisation made possible by a foundation composed of seven universities and public and private businesses. Santa Maria la Rossa is an ancient church in Milan, Italy. Excavations at the site, suggest a structure was present at the site since the early Roman Imperial era. Evidence shows that reconstructions occurred in the first centuries of the common era. However the first historical references to a basilica church of Santa Maria ad Fonticulum or Santa Maria di Fonteggio, at this site date to the 10th century. In the 12th century a monastery of Benedictine nuns was attached. A major reconstruction of the church took place in the 14th century. Recent reconstructions have eliminated all but ancient decorations, the church is now occupied by a Franciscan order.

Barona is a border district ("quartiere") of the city of Milan, Italy. It is part of the Zone 6 administrative division, and it is located south of the city centre. Its population can be roughly estimated to 85,000 (official data are not available as districts are not formal divisions). It borders on the comunes of Buccinasco, Assago, and Corsico and the districts of Lorenteggio and Torretta. Its boundaries are marked by the Parco Agricolo Sud Milano nature reserve to the south, by the Naviglio Grande and Naviglio Pavese canals to the east and to the west, and by the Circonvallazione ring road to the north (more specifically, by the Viale Cassala and Viale Tibaldi avenues). Barona is a mainly residential district, and one of those having a higher proportion of green areas still devoted to agriculture. The most typical features of the agricultural areas in Barona, as well as in the neighbouring semi-rural districts and communes, are the water-meadows and paddy fields. It has two main urban sub-districts, Sant'Ambrogio I and Sant'Ambrogio II. Sant'Ambrogio I has landmark, curvy buildings, constructed in the 1960s, housing about 5,000 people. Sant'Ambrogio II developed between the 1960s and 1970s and has prefabricated apartment buildings of simpler design. The district includes two well known community centres, Barrio's and Villaggio Barona.
