Miriam Barnert Hebrew Free School

The Frederick William Cooke Residence was a historic building built 1883–1886 and located at 384 Broadway in the city of Paterson in Passaic County, New Jersey. Also known as the Cooke Mansion, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 8, 1982, for its significance in architecture, industry, and transportation. It was destroyed by fire in 1991.

Broadway–Paterson was a New York, Susquehanna and Western Railroad (NYS&W) station in Paterson, New Jersey near the level, or at-grade crossing south of Broadway at Ellison Place and Madison Avenue. Service by the New Jersey Midland, a predecessor to the NYS&W, had begun in 1873. It was originally known as Paterson, but was renamed after a junction of the railroad's mainline was created to build the Paterson City Branch. The station house, demolished in 1982, was situated between the two lines and served as the Susquehanna's headquarters for several years. Passenger service on the branch ended in 1960 and on the mainline in 1966.

It is one of a number of academy programs serving students in ninth through twelfth grades based at the Eastside High School campus. As of the 2020–21 school year, the school had an enrollment of 653 students and 49.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.3:1. There were 395 students (60.5% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 8 (1.2% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Eastside High School (or EHS) is a four–year public high school located in Paterson section of Passaic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, that serves the eastern section of Paterson. EHS, which serves ninth through twelfth grade students, operates as part of the Paterson Public Schools. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1928. Eastside High School opened on February 1, 1926.As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 2,323 students and 133.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 17.5:1. There were 1,188 students (51.1% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 37 (1.6% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.The school mascot—the Ghosts—derives from the location of Eastside's football field, where a nineteenth-century cemetery once stood. A May 1927 article in The Paterson Evening News refers to the Eastside team as the "Galloping Ghosts".

The Paterson Armory, an armory in Paterson, New Jersey, was a facility of the New Jersey National Guard and an arena. The building at 461-473 Market Street was long disused and in a state of disrepair when on November 10, 2015, a fire damaged it heavily. As of November 16, 2015, the armory was in the process of being demolished. Certain decorative features, such as the keystone in the arch at the entrance, may be chiseled out and given to the Paterson MuseumIn January 2017, in the absence of proposals, the city relaxed regulations regarding the building site. to encourage re-use and redevelopment for commercial and residential uses. In July 2018, the city announced the potential sale of the armory for new construction including remaining historical elements of the building.

Danforth Memorial Library, also known as the Paterson Free Public Library, is located at 250 Broadway in the city of Paterson in Passaic County, New Jersey, United States. The library was built in 1905 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 1, 1984, for its significance in architecture, education, and social history.The Library houses the city's art collection, mostly of painting 19th century paintings donated to the city.

The Rosa L. Parks School of Fine and Performing Arts is a four-year public high school in Paterson in Passaic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, serving students in ninth through twelfth grades as part of the Paterson Public Schools. In October 1986, Rosa Parks honored the school family at the opening ceremony by cutting the ribbon. To date, it is the only high school in the United States named after her.The school provides training in each of eight art majors: Commercial Art, Fine Art, Dance, Drama, Vocal, Instrumental, Piano, and Communication Arts (formerly known as Creative Writing). Communication Arts, however, is not recognized as a major, due to the fact that it is not considered a fine art anymore. Paterson is a New Jersey Transit commuter railway station located on an elevated viaduct above Market Street in downtown Paterson, New Jersey. The railway through the station is double tracked, for north and south traffic on the NJT Main Line.
