The Petitfils-Boos House is an Italian Renaissance Revival mansion in the Hancock Park section of Los Angeles, California. It was designed by Charles F. Plummer and built in 1922. In 2005, the house was added to the National Register of Historic Places based on architectural criteria.

The William O. Jenkins House— also known as the "Phantom House", the J. Paul Getty mansion and 641 South Irving Boulevard — was a Mediterranean-style property in Los Angeles, California, built for businessman William O. Jenkins (reputedly the "richest man in Mexico") in 1922 and '23. Although razed in 1957, it lives on in movie memory owing to its use in location shooting for two celebrated Hollywood films — Sunset Boulevard (1950) and Rebel Without a Cause (1955).

The Ebell of Los Angeles is a women's club housed in a complex in the Mid-Wilshire section of Los Angeles, California. It includes a clubhouse building and the 1,270-seat Wilshire Ebell Theatre. The complex has been owned and operated since 1927 by the Ebell of Los Angeles women's club, which was formed in Los Angeles in 1894 or 1897. Since 1927, the Wilshire Ebell Theatre has hosted musical performances and lectures by world leaders and top artists. Among other events, the Ebell was the site of aviator Amelia Earhart's last public appearance before attempting the 1937 around-the-world flight during which she disappeared. It is also the place where Judy Garland was discovered while performing as Baby Frances Gumm in the 1930s.

Beverly Boulevard is one of the main east-west thoroughfares in Los Angeles, in the U.S. state of California.
