Ghana School of Law

The Ridge Church School is an independent and parochial co-educational preparatory day school in Accra, Ghana. Situated between the Gamel Abdul Nasser Avenue and Guinea Bissau Road and opposite the Efua Sutherland Children's Park, it was founded by the Accra Ridge Church in 1957, the year of Ghana's independence from the United Kingdom. The Ridge Church School is located on the premises of the church. It was the first wholly private basic school to be established in modern Ghana. The Accra Ridge Church was the first international solely English-speaking Protestant church in Ghana. The school is inter-denominational Christian, holding ties to the Anglican, Methodist and Presbyterian churches, that assign chaplains to both the church and school. The school runs a ten–year programme from kindergarten to lower primary through upper primary to junior high and culminating in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) administered by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). The school largely follows the prescribed curriculum and syllabus of the Ghana Education Service (GES).

Efua Sutherland Children's Park (also known as Children's Park) is a 14.83-acre (0.0600 km2) public park for children located opposite The National Theatre at West Ridge in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. It was started in 1979 and known as Accra Children's Park or Ridge Park and later renamed after Ghanaian playwright and children's author, Efua Sutherland. As of 2019, the park has seen less development since its inception.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) is the government ministry of Ghana that is responsible for the health of Ghanaians. It is involved in providing public health services, managing Ghana's healthcare industry, and building Ghana's hospitals and medical education system. It was responsible for direct public health service delivery or provision in the country. However, with the enactment of an ACT 525 of parliament, the functions of promotion, preventive, curative and rehabilitative care has been delegated to the Ghana Health Service and Teaching hospitals. Hence, the ministry is now responsible for only policy formulation, monitoring and evaluation, resource mobilization and regulation of the health service delivery in the country.

The Accra International Conference Centre is an events venue in Accra, Ghana. Other venues include the Ghana Trade Fair Center and the National Theatre, but the Conference Centre is the most popular due to its size and capacity as compared to the National Theatre, and at the same time smaller than the Ghana Trade Fair Centre (which was built to host pan-African events).

The National Theatre was opened in 1992 to spearhead the Theatre movement in Ghana by providing a multi-functional venue for concerts, dance, drama and musical performances, screenplays, exhibitions and special events. In Ghana, theatre as an artistic form has existed for centuries in the traditional dramatic expressions of society, however, the National Theatre Movement (NTM) was conceived around the time of Ghana's independence in 1957 to help remold the new nation's cultural identity. The theatre is governed by the National Theatre Law 1991, PNDC Law 259. The building houses the three resident companies of the National Dance Company, the National Symphony Orchestra, and the National Theatre Players.

First National Bank Ghana Limited (FNBGL), commonly referred to as First National Bank Ghana, is a commercial bank in Ghana. It is licensed by the Bank of Ghana, the central bank and national banking regulator.

Cedi House is a 14-storey building in Accra, Ghana that houses the Bank of Ghana and the Ghana Stock Exchange. ==History== The  Bank of Ghana (BoG) Office Building Annex  which is simply referred to as the CEDI House. Started in 1970 and completed in 1973, the building houses the Banking and Supervision  Departments as well as the Central Securities Depository of the BoG. It was designed by Ghanaian architect Professor John Owusu Addo, who is the brain behind many oter iconic buildings in Ghana, including the unity hall of KNUST.It also is home to the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) and a host of other prestigious companies and banks. Consisting of fourteen floors (14) with two (2) additional underground floors, the CEDI House is one of the tallest buildings in the country and its proximity to the Central Business District of Accra makes it a prime office location for top companies.

The Development Bank Ghana (DBG) is a government-owned development bank in Ghana. Owned by the government of Ghana, the institution has received grants and loans for on-lending to Ghana's commercial banks, from the African Development Bank, the World Bank Group, the European Investment Bank, and the German Development Bank. The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) is the principal stock exchange of Ghana. The exchange was incorporated in July 1989 with trading commencing in 1990. It currently lists 42 equities (from 37 companies) and 2 corporate bonds. All types of securities can be listed. Criteria for listing include capital adequacy, profitability, spread of shares, years of existence and management efficiency. The GSE is located within the Cedi House in Accra.
